Quality education, go for it.

Placements: In our batch, there are 25 persons taking Economics as an honours subject. We all passed the examinations without any back subjects, with the lowest grades scoring over 40 percent. There is no specific package offered during our time, but we were given as much field survey as possible. I might say, we MET two IES who came and taught and trained us for two days. Since it is only a Bachelor's degree, 98 percent of students decided to study further. 3 percent of students got internships in the same college teaching economics. Indian Economics is the best and most interesting course offered in our times.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the classroom. Projector and slides are available, with two ceiling fans. In fact, an AC classroom is not necessary in Mizoram as the climate is moderate. The library is good. PUC library is one of the largest libraries found in North Eastern States colleges' libraries. The hostel is pretty good with a good building. Food is of good quality. Food that is sold in the canteen is of good quality and prices are good. Medical room is available with a nurse. There is a football ground and basketball court.

Faculty: Teachers are of very good quality. One is now serving as an economics advisor for the Mizoram Government. One is giving 2 hours of free lectures for the Combined Exam. Indian economics is always relevant. It prepares and challenges students in different fields like society, economics, and politics, as all are related. Semester exams are pretty hard with 90 percent pass percentage.

Other: Economics is an interesting subject that can be used in daily life. I studied the real meaning that it is not about miserly or being stingy, it is about using scarce resources in a useful way. It is related to our daily expenses, daily living, political science, etc. I don't have any other wishes for improvement about the course, rather, I hope economics should be studied in native languages, and books about the Indian economy should be released in native languages. Activities are 100 percent excellent in the College. Department activities, SU activities, sports, clubs, literature, competitions, fresher day, fest, etc., are perfect.
