Pajancoa - A nightmare for students.
Placements: The placement is zero, you won't get any placement here. This college has a total of 120 seats, but only 80 seats get filled. No one gets internships from this college, and no companies come here. They don't give you any training for companies. All they say is study for IAS, that's all.
Infrastructure: The hostel conditions are very poor. The hostel was built in the 1980s, and it has a cracking roof, smelly toilets, and poor sanitation around the hostel. Many have suffered from chickenpox and food poisoning. This hostel is once sealed by FSSAI. They don't promote any games except volleyball. The hostel has very strict rules. You can't even take a rest in your rooms, otherwise, you will be expelled. Also, you can't use a vehicle to travel in this hot sun.
Faculty: The faculty members are very bad. They are very selfish and they think about their convenience only. Teachers don't know basic English. About exams, they purposely fail you to get an evaluation and reappearance fees. They don't make students industry-ready. Also, the fees are very high, and the college doesn't give any facilities.
Other: Campus life is very boring with no shops around and strict rules. If boys and girls talk to each other, teachers will purposely fail you for 3 years, and it will take 2 extra years to complete your degree. Also, they won't allow you to use any vehicles to travel 250 acres around the campus. Plus, there is no place to sit in this hot sun. If you are tired, you can't go to the hostel, because they will expel you.

The college must improve a lot.
Placements: There are no placements in my college. Few industries conduct walk-in interviews. There are no placements, no package is offered and no internships are offered. The course helps us to get an overall general view of all sectors, so it is easy for us to attend competitive exams.
Infrastructure: There is a library on our campus and it is useful. Classrooms are a bit old. Renovation is going on in our hostel. The quality of the food in the mess is poor. The management is working on it. We have good sports facilities. We have many clubs for different activities.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified experienced and knowledgeable. The course has too much information which can be reduced. It makes the students stressed. Semester exams in our college are quite difficult. Most of the students pass except a few. The percentage may be around 80%.
Other: This is the only government college for agriculture in Pondicherry. There are many clubs for extracurricular activities.

The college is paradise for a nature lover.
Placements: In a batch, 120 students are placed every year. The highest package is 25000 per month and the lowest is 10000 per month. The Fertilizer company, SEED company, storage units, farming units are recruiting.
40% of students are recruited. The agriculture field officer, supervisor are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: There is a separate class for each batch with labs. Wi-Fi connected hostel for boys and girls is there. The food is of good quality. There is a wide ground for cricket, handball, football, volleyball, kabaddi, tennis table, tennis and chess. There is nearby hospital for health.
Faculty: All the teachers are doctorates in their specific courses, they are more qualified in their field. Our course is fully practical based, we learn by practicals. The semester system is mid semester, practical and theory are there. The minimum percentage for pass is 60%.
Other: I chose this course to interact with nature. The college needs more outdoor classes and need more internship.

Good college to brainstorm our knowledge.
Placements: The total strength of students for this course is 120. 80 seats are allocated for Government Quota based on merit marks and 40 seats are allocated by self-supporting. The highest package offered is Rs.150000 and the lowest package is Rs.25000. There is still no internship from our course.
Infrastructure: Our department has 2 floors with decent classrooms, well equipped labs and audio rooms. We have been provided with limited Wi-Fi facility of 2 MBPS. The hostel has good rooms with medium tasting food and 24 hours medical facility. We have a good playground and a good Physical coach to train us.
Faculty: The staffs are Doctorate in their streams and have good teaching knowledge to teach students efficiently. This course is curriculum relevant and makes students industry ready. The exams are quite tougher and the pass percentage is 99%. The teaching quality is knowledgeable and easily understandable.
Other: The best about this college is the peace of learning and best teachers. The college should improve lab’s infrastructure and projector facilities.

It is the best place for learning and it is a hard way to find placements.
Placements: There were 40 seats in this college. The course runs for 4 years with 8 semesters. The per semester package was Rs 24,000 per month for the general category, and the average salary offered was 1.5 LPA. There were still no placements companies in our college. Students had 50% theory, and 50% practical-based classes.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the best infrastructure regarding horticulture. It provides the biggest Orchard in our town, and students regularly visit them to learn more. The hostel was large for both girls and boys since, it is a government undertaken college.
Faculty: Teachers were excellent in their teaching and knowledge. They help students in many ways, and the course was tough and it gives students plenty of knowledge. Each staffs working in our college, and they were very punctual in their tasks and duties.
Other: The course was the best for getting jobs in government sectors rather than public one.

It is one of the best choices for students who want to get the best days in their life.
Placements: Actually, there is no campus selection in this college. However, the teaching and the career guidance are very good that students will get clear information about what to do next after M.Sc or B.Sc. Many of our batchmates have secured seats in M.Sc in ICAR colleges all over India.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was quite enough here. The facilities were also good. The lecturers were mainly aimed at the practical work, so there were enough lab facilities and equipment. We experienced a lot of practical work and were also involved in that particular work.
Faculty: The teachers here were well knowledgeable and qualified. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum was very relevant. Semester exams were average, and the exams were conducted very strictly. There is no chance to cheat in exams. The timetables are followed very correctly and promptly.
Other: Many events will be conducted here. Students can get the best life on this campus. The college is very strict, and the rules are very hard. However, it will be one of the best experiences.
