Review of Panimalar Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in our college are excellent, and every year, more than 90% of students are getting placed. Training provided by the management is excellent and efficient, students benefit from the training. Top organizations like CTS, Hexaware, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc., come for hiring, and students get hired for both IT and core engineering fields.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and laboratories are very well-equipped with high-end technologies and smart rooms. Many AV halls and seminar halls are available for every department. Many labs are available for every department. Libraries are also available for each and every department in addition to the two central libraries. We have a separate mess for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Hostels are provided with facilities like a gym, sports, smart, etc.

Faculty: Almost all teachers from our college are Ph.D. graduates, and their style of teaching is very efficient. Teachers teach the concepts in a very easy manner, making it easy to remember the concepts very well. The curriculum is well updated to the current industry standards for every department. Semester exams are pretty easy because of the excellent teaching by staff, and students can score more than 80% in all exams.

Other: The rules in our college are strict. But there are a lot of good things about the campus. Many scholarships are provided for students, and free Wi-Fi is available. Our college supports sports as well as academics equally. Our campus is very green, surrounded by lots of trees. The environment is very blissful.

You can get a degree in your name, but there are no more expectations rather that.

Placements: Placements are at an average rate, with only a few students getting placed. The college does not provide enough resources for student placements. Internship suggestions are not provided by the college, so we have to search for internships on our own. Most of the placement companies are call centers, and only one or two students get placed with a decent package.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facilities and mobile phones are not allowed inside the classrooms or on campus. Although there is a library, it is not very useful as students can only access it during break time which is very limited, maximum 10 minutes. The classrooms have very old infrastructure and there is no canteen at all.

Faculty: No faculty members have complete knowledge about the courses. The only thing they do is read and dictate from the material, leading to very poor teaching. There is no Wi-Fi facility, and in practical classes, the faculty lacks knowledge, so you don’t get any practical experience. The only option is to memorize the syllabus and get marks in the final exams.

Other: I chose this course to explore knowledge about AI and machine learning, but this college doesn’t have the capability to encourage students to think about those topics. They focus on creating employees for corporate companies rather than inspiring students to think and explore ideas. The course feels meaningless, and the only benefit is getting a degree with your name on it.

It has a good atmosphere. Faculty members have good industrial skills.

Placements: 78% of students get placed in our college every year. The highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Machine learning course will be introduced in 2022 in our college. The upcoming companies are eagerly waiting to grab the students of AI ML as many as they want. Many technical events are introducing many internships where every student must do at least one internship per semester.

Infrastructure: For every course, there are many web active laboratories with well-working systems that can be used for competitive programming. Hostels are very nice and comfortable. Hostels are one of the most cost worth in the entire city with very low prices and good quality.

Faculty: Exams are conducted every time and any time they want. There are both online and offline assignments that we can do eventually. As per Anna University rules, our curriculum is more comfortable to do any course stress-free. The courses and facilities we have are more beneficial to make students ready. Our college faculty members are very good in industry management skills, where we can easily manage students to get more skills in the right pathway.

Other: Our batch is the second batch that we came after the course introduction. A lot of people are choosing our course where it has many opportunities and more facilities insist in this college.

Placements: Placements are very good in the college. The package offered is good and enough for freshers. It offers an ideal package for freshers. The top recruiting companies in college are Zoho, TVS, TCS, etc. Students also get internships here.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our department are good and neat. There is good equipment in the department. There are good labs with good equipment required for students. The network connection is good, fast, and enough for students.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are good with a well-educated background. The course curriculum is good and nice for students. Exams have tricky questions and moderate papers. There is a required syllabus in the course curriculum at the college.
