Good infrastructure and learning environment with improved placements for AI & data science.

Placements: 80 percent of students from our department get placed. The highest package offered is 28 LPA. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA. Top companies like TCS, CTS Hexaware, Capgemini, Infosys, and HCL hire students. Internships are not offered by the college as we want to try by ourselves. Top roles offered are data scientist, stack developer, and software engineer.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are maintained neatly and cleaned every day. Wi-Fi is available. Food is perfect. Sports are not that much encouraged. Medical facilities are wonderful. But the phone tower is slow based on the network. The hostel has very good quality food. Rooms and toilets are well-maintained.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and have good knowledge. They are friendly and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is based on old regulations. Semester exams are not that difficult if we study. The pass percentage is 80-90 percent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course because of government counselling. Many events are organised here, and students can showcase their talents.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our batch. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Accenture, Zoho, TCS, CTS, etc. Roles offered were software developer, testing, and technical support engineer.

Infrastructure: All computer labs were fully air-conditioned and contained a lot of high-end computers with high-speed internet connectivity for learning and training purposes. Classrooms were very good and contained many fans, white boards, and projectors that will be used for taking a class when needed. Libraries were also there with fully air-conditioned and had many computers with internet facilities and a wide variety of collections of books i.e., more than 10,000 books. Food was compulsory for day scholars and hostellers also. Food quality was good and tasty. Medical facilities were there for emergency situations. Sports facilities were less only.

Faculty: All the staffs were well qualified. Most of the staffs were Ph.D. graduates only. The teaching style of staffs will be good. Courses were not completely industrial standards, but somewhat high standards. Semester exams were easy to medium and pass percentage was mostly more than 90%.

Other: I chose engineering in computer science because I prefer to go to an IT job. Courses could be more industry standards. Events are conducted less frequently. Sports facilities could also be improved.

Good environment to learn with fun.

Placements: Nearly 90% of students were getting placed in this college. The only criteria for the students is they should not have a standing arrear while applying for placement. If you don't have an arrear, for sure you will get placed. Many MNC and core-related companies are coming for the placement drive.

Infrastructure: Depending on your department, the labs will be equipped for the necessary functions. But if you want to use your phones in college, you can't use it because there is no network coverage. In the hostel, they provide Wi-Fi and food for the hostel students. In case of medical emergencies, they will take you to Panimalar Hospital. The check-up is free of cost and you have to pay for the medicine only.

Faculty: The facilities will be friendly with you, and for exams, they will provide you with important questions. If you perform well in the internals, surely you will complete the semester with a higher GPA. The semester exams are easy to pass, if you are an average student, you will get above 7.4 GPA.

Review of Panimalar Engineering College.

Placements: By 2023, nearly 150+ companies had applied for placements. And out of 1200 students, 900+ students got placed in good companies. Students are placed in various roles depending on their skills and interests. The highest package that will be offered to students by 2023 will be 13.5 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are maintained neatly; they are air-conditioned and spacious rooms. Apart from the nearly four to five cultural events conducted in a year, students are encouraged to participate in their interests.

Faculty: Passing examinations are very much difficult. Our teachers asked us to refer lot of textbooks, website, online sources for better learning of the concepts. They also ask us to cover all the syllabus portions for clearing the examinations with higher grades.

The golden moments of panimalar.

Placements: The placement here in this college is good. The average package is upto 5L per annum. Many of the students gets placed in. The top package is 10L per annum. Companies like Zoho, Infosys, HCl came for the placements. And many got places. Placement here is always good enough.

Infrastructure: The course I took is BE CS. I enjoyed studying here. Most of the time we spend in lab. There is Wi-Fi in the college. The mess is great. It will give you hotel like feeling. One of the best mess in the college in Tamil Nadu.

Faculty: The faculty here are good. They are trained professionals. They teach very well and they mostly teach in job oriented. The semester is moderate even to the topper. But we can manage it in practical! In my batch the pass percentage is 99%.
