Absolutely dissatisfied with the management. Think thrice before getting into this college.

Placements: This year we had very average companies for placements. Usually the placement process starts in the end of the 3rd year. A very handful of students with great skills got placed in tier 1 companies. On average 70% students gets placed in a decent companies, 5-10% opt for startups and on average 10% opted for highstudies.

Infrastructure: The lab, classroom and library facilities are good and well maintained. But not all the lab staffs are well-equipped. No canteen facility and outside foods are not allowed. Girls and boys must come in proper dress code and there will be seperate staffs to check that.

Faculty: On average the professors are highly qualified. Usually we have 2 internals before the even and the odd semester. Scoring marks is not that difficult guys. But rather then they have many unrelated subjected and their is no option for additional languages.

Other: The campus follows really very strict and blame rules. Boys and girls must not communicate inside the campus by which affects their public speaking skills many are facing that inside this campus. The campus life here is soo different comparing with other colleges. So make sure that you can adapt else your college life will be full of regret guys .

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the rules of the college.

Placements: As I am yet to attend placements I don't know about it correctly but I heard that around 160 members got placed in Infosys this year for a salary of 3.6lpa and around 20 got placed for 6.5lpa which I think is good when compared to the numbers that got placed in previous years.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is so good and it has a big space. We also have a big auditorium (very big) where easily around 1000 can be seated comfortable. Classrooms have projectors. Labs have good computers with good a speed Wi-Fi where there will be members to correct it even if any system has any issues. There is no canteen in the college. So we are supposed to eat in mess only and we aren't allowed to bring food from home also except special cases. The mess food is moderate some times good and sometimes found with insects.

Faculty: The faculty members are talented and very knowledgeable and also helpful and from second year every 20 members will get assigned to a mentor. So they will help you in every possible way. The course is good and last year also we went to a company for IV. The semester exams aren't very difficult. It's very easy to pass more than 90% will get passed.

Other: The campus life is very poor because still phones aren't official allowed to college and they snatch away the phones even if we use them in snacks break and it's not a co-ed college as girls and boys are fully separate and aren't even allowed to talk with each other. We don't have any fests and events to be happy. There is no extra curricular activities rarely the youth red cross club conducts some rallies.

Rules can be reduced at Panimalar Engineering College.

Placements: They say 95% of students were placed, which I don't know if it's true or not. The highest package offered is said to be 36 LPA. The lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Infosys, IBM, etc. They don't provide internships along with the course; instead, they request students to take on external internships. Data Analyst, Software Engineer are some of the roles offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Hostels contain a gym, salon, and a small canteen. A single room can be shared with 3. A room consists of a single restroom. Snacks such as tea, cake, or biscuits are provided. No hosteller is allowed to go outside without a guardian or parents during non-holidays. Students have to wear formal attire while going to the mess if any Saturday is a working day for other year students.

Faculty: The faculty are good at teaching. They teach using blackboards, while some colleges just project PDFs and read them out. There are a total of three theory exams and one practical exam. Internal assessments 1 and 2 are followed by the end-semester practical, and at last, the end-semester exam will be conducted.

Other: No events such as cultural activities ever happen in this college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the method they are treating students.

Placements: Placements are average for computer related courses like BE CSE, B.Tech IT but other departments have the worst placements. Many of my seniors from other departments were doing call center jobs for Rs. 8000 per month which is the worst. The internships given for juniors are for name sake, they will have tie up with the company and you will do nothing or it will be a simple task like create PPT.

Infrastructure: Their is no Wi-Fi in campus instead you can find devices similar to router which are jammers. You read it right, mobile signal jammers are installed in every floor in every building to prevent mobile usage by the students. Hostels are very neat and clean. The food you get here will be top notch. This college is known for their food.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful but you can find many teachers who struggle to speak English and some even take classes in local language. You can reach out to them at any time if you have any problem, they will definitely help you. PS: Every student is treated like a child in panimalar.

Other: The campus life, if you want this college forget campus life. There is no campus life, Fests and events are conducted just for name sake and no interaction between girls and boys even though it is a co-ed college, you will be in serious trouble if they find you speaking with the opposite sex even if it is your sister. Hostlers are not allowed to keep phone with them instead their is a PCO in every hostel which you can use.
