Had a little good experience but had higher expectations. Could be better if placements are more.
Placements: Though most students go for higher studies, the placement rate is low, around 30%. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest 1.2 LPA, and the average is near 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, Edutec, etc. Around 2% of students from my course got internships, though getting one is not very difficult. The top roles offered to economics graduates are research analyst, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Classes infrastructure is average. Good library with all kinds of books, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a separate AC room for serious students. No hostel, and canteen food is also bad. Despite claims, no improvement. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in classes. Sports ground is also not available all the time.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and supportive except a few. There is a gap between the curriculum and industry demand. There is a need to focus more on relevant skills, most of the time, only marks are a concern. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a 90% passing rate.
Other: Teachers are supportive if you want to study further in the field, but still the curriculum could have been more real. Fests are very good, cultural activities mostly take place, the crowd is good, and the campus is clean.

Place where many dreams come true.
Placements: It has a placement cell, but very few students are placed. The students who are part of the placement cell take most of the advantage. You have to continuously check the placement cell's site and apply there, but no companies visit the college separately for placement.
Infrastructure: There is no separate hostel in the college, but the infrastructure is good, it has a separate ground and gym, along with a separate court for volleyball and a dance class. It has a library with a large number of books, and also a spacious canteen with budget-friendly and quality food.
Faculty: Faculty members were very supportive and knowledgeable, always encouraging students to take part in extracurricular activities apart from academics. There's also an annual fest in college every year. The college follows the university guidelines for its syllabus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of small campus. Infrastructure is okay but not in well condition.
Placements: 9.4 CGPA is the highest score. The highest package is approximately 23 LPA. The lowest package is about 4.23 LPA, and the median package is 5 LPA approximately. Top recruiting companies are EY, GDS, EY India, Wipro, Flipkart, etc. More than 80 companies recruiting. About 60% of campus students got internships at Amazon, Jio, Airtel, etc. Top roles are research papers, managing the advertisements, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi or network issue problem. Library is good but classrooms are too small according to the capacity of students. Labs are good with AC facilities. In library, Wi-Fi is available. The quality of food is good in comparison to others. In sports PGDAV is known for its best cricketers and in games like volleyball. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are so qualified and knowledgeable but some are not. Semester exams are average even though every weak student can score good by just practicing the previous year's questions. Course curriculum is also relevant. It provides students with not even basic knowledge but in broader sense too.
Other: Fests are so crazy or good just like a normal day celebration in government school.

Affordable DU college with good academics, average crowd, & placements.
Placements: Placements are average. Around 20%-30% of students got placed through the college placement cell. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, average being 3 LPA-4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, EY, and Genpact visited the campus. However, most students opt for off-campus placements or higher studies. Internships are mostly self-sourced, but opportunities are available through college societies and external platforms.
Infrastructure: The campus has decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi, computer labs, well-equipped classrooms, and a library with sufficient resources. Although there is no in-campus hostel, PGDAV offers access to DU-affiliated PGs nearby. The canteen food is average, with limited but affordable options. There are basic sports facilities and a common room, but medical facilities are minimal. The environment is generally clean and manageable for daily academic activities.
Faculty: Most faculty members are experienced and have a good command of their subjects. Teaching quality varies between departments. Some professors are very engaging, while others are average. The curriculum is updated, but still leans more towards theoretical concepts than practical skills. Semester exams are moderately tough, and the pass percentage is generally high if you study consistently. Internal assessment plays an important role in overall performance.

I am totally satisfied with my college (P.G.D.A.V) because it gave me very much knowledge.
Placements: The placement cell of P.G.D.A.V. College serves as an interface between the students and the corporate world. Apart from bringing various companies to the campus, the placement cell also organizes talks, study abroad seminars, internship opportunities, and workshops for the collective student body.
Infrastructure: The college has added smart classrooms equipped with overhead projectors and separate departmental rooms. It has a grand auditorium and state of the art seminar hall. There are various hostel facilities and PGs available, and there is a good canteen.
Faculty: The teachers at P.G.D.A.V. are very good because they teach you like they are your friends. Their nature is also good and very polite. The exams are not that difficult if you study, everything becomes easier, as we know. The passing percentage in the college is from 50% to 63%.

Overall, the college is nice. You can take admission here and enjoy your college life.
Placements: Placements for Economics Hons are not very good. If you want a job after graduation, you will need to look outside the college as well. The placement cell is cooperative, but the profiles they offer for Economics Hons are limited.
Infrastructure: Our college does not have a hostel, if you are coming from outside Delhi, you will need to book a PG or a flat. The library is adequate, but its infrastructure is not very good, as it sometimes gets overcrowded and a bit noisy. The canteen is decent, offering food at very affordable rates, and the taste is good, so you should definitely try it.
Faculty: Faculty members of Economics Hons are very supportive, especially professors like Indranil Sir and Rimpy Mam. You can even message them after college hours, and they will still be there to support you. The Economics Society of PGDAV College might be a bit challenging, as students sometimes show partiality towards each other, so be careful with that.
Other: This course is one of the best offered by the University of Delhi, so you can go for it. Make sure you have good friends because there is a possibility that your friends won’t be there for you when you need them the most. The fest season at Delhi University is very nice, last time our fest was not very good, but the one before that was excellent.
