Good course and decent college.

Placements: B.Com (Hons.) at PGDAV College, DU, batch 2024–27, offers good exposure to commerce and business. 70 percent of students get placed. The package offered us 3 LPA- 10 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, EY, WTW, Accenture, and Zomato. Internships are also available.

Infrastructure: PGDAV College has facilities like good classrooms, Wi-Fi, library, computer labs, canteen, and sports facilities. The infrastructure is satisfactory for B.Com (Hons.). College does not have an on-campus hostel so hostel and mess facilities are not applicable.

Faculty: The teachers at PGDAV College are qualified, knowledgeable, and generally helpful. The teaching quality is good. The B.Com (Hons.) curriculum is relevant and provides a good foundation though students need extra practical skills to become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is generally high.

A good college with a good environment.

Placements: Honestly, I don't have much information about placements. But many students have been placed from my college in companies like Amazon, EY, Bank of America, etc. The average package offered in my course was 4.5 to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were E-Y and Bank of America.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good. Personally, I haven't faced any problem regarding the infrastructure. The Wi-Fi is a bit low in certain areas, but otherwise everything is decent. Food is also delicious with many varieties available. Sports are amazing here.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and very helpful. I have not faced any problems with the curriculum. It's flexible and easy to manage. Semester exams are also very well aligned with my interests. The syllabus is quite defined. The quality of teaching is also fine.

Other: I chose this course because it is very interesting to know about the history and politics of the world.

Placements: Our college offers a B.A. programme, B.A. (Honours), and a B.Com programme. Placements are also good. There is a society and also a placement cell. Many students were offered for placements. The placement cell is very nice. They provide the required facilities and are helpful and cooperative. The highest salary package offered is 48 LPA and the lowest is 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The canteen is hygienic. They serve very nice food at an affordable price. Our college has a library with many books and an auditorium. There is another canteen which has a bank area. We also have a volleyball court and a big ground for cricket. Various sports and wings are also available for some entertainment for free or during rest time. The college has 4 buildings and 2 grounds. Two of the buildings have classes.

Faculty: Teachers are also good. Exams are not tough. The course curriculum is relevant. PYQs are very important and helpful for upcoming exams or the upcoming semester. The syllabus provides good knowledge that is relevant to our course. My college is in South Campus.

Other: This is the best combination for the B.A. programme, so I chose this course.

Overall, my college is amazing. Faculty is amazing. It has a supportive environment.

Placements: 40-50% of students are placed in my course because my course is quite popular. The highest package is up to 6 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. The lowest is 2.5 LPA. Zamstars and various NGOs are the top recruiting companies. Policy Research Associate is one of the top roles offered in think tanks and NGOs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing. It looks really good and well-maintained. Labs are very well-maintained. The canteen is really affordable and spacious. If I talk about the food, it is honestly amazing. The library has a very peaceful study environment and a well-arranged seating area.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. They are approachable too. They explain concepts very clearly. They also help with doubts. The teaching quality is up to the mark. They share both practical and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum provides the foundation for higher studies.

Affordable fees, highly qualified teachers, and great campus life.

Placements: Since I just took admission in the 2026 batch as a fresher, from what I have heard from my seniors, around 60 to 70 percent of students get placed in top companies like EY and Wipro. The average package is around 4–5 LPA, whereas the highest package is up to 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The campus has a great vibe. It has decent classrooms and a good library. The Wi-Fi can be glitchy sometimes. I don't know about the hostel, as I am a day scholar. I think most of the outstation students live in nearby PGs near the college. The best part is that we have a huge sports ground. The canteen also serves really tasty food and snacks at such an affordable rate.

Faculty: Teachers here are very qualified and super sweet about clearing doubts. Well, as a fresher, I don't know much about the syllabus now, but I think for academics, I do not have to worry because of teachers. I haven't given my first-semester exams yet, but the seniors told me to be prepared for exams because most questions are repeated from the last 10 years' question papers.

Other: I chose B.Sc. Mathematical Sciences because it is a mix of Maths, Statistics, and CS. This is a perfect foundation for Data Science. The best part of PGDAV is the super helpful faculty, affordable fee, and proximity to the metro station. The campus crowd is energetic. Societies are also very active. I am also excited to attend the fest.

Amazing environment. Frank, kind, and helpful seniors and faculty.

Placements: The PGDAV Placement Cell is quite proactive. It often organizes annual internship fairs, resume building workshops, and training sessions. Placements are highly favorable for Commerce (B.Com Hons.) and specific Science paths. But for Arts students, the only work is from off-campus sources. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Many companies also visit the college, like Amazon, EY, and Bank of America.

Infrastructure: I love the library of my college. Wi-Fi has also recently been repaired and is working very well. The infrastructure is also amazing. I don't live in the hostel. I live in a PG nearby. Canteen's food is amazing and affordable. I don't know much about the sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, frank, and knowledgeable. My curriculum is relevant. My syllabus is fully appropriate for the GS papers of UPSC. The syllabus is very helpful for future initiatives if we read it correctly. Teachers also provide us with various resources. Semester exams are not so hard. They are okay. I got a 7.64 SGPA, so I think it is okay.

Other: As a student of the BA Programme (History + Political Science), I love my course, and it is amazing to read about. Faculty also gives us not only AI-based assignments, but they send us to some areas where we can learn things for real, like the PM Museum and Gandhi's handlooms in CP. Events and fests are also very enjoyable.
