PGDAV is south campus. NCC is also available here. The college provides good trip plans.
Placements: PGDAV College wants above 69% for admission in college by NCWEB. The average package offered by the college is dependent on our marks and it is 20 LPA. No internship is provided by the college, and students have to find it by themselves. B.Com students have a chance to take internships by the college as the college gives them but it depends on their semester results. The best package is basically for B.Com students but all students can apply for it.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good at PGDAV College. Classrooms are cleaned and in the new building, it is too good. In classrooms, the seating plan is also good. The best thing in PGDAV is the playground, which is very good but not big. There are music labs, a gym, a green group, and herbs plants.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and very helpful. They always help students. Teachers give study materials also. PGDAV College offers courses like B.A, B.A Hons, B.Com and B.Com Hons. Semester exams are difficult but teachers help us in exam preparation. We can call teachers before 10 PM and they will help us. Assignments are also easy which is given by teachers. They also take viva by our assignments. Attendance is very important for our semester exams.
Other: In PGDAV College, the environment is good. It is not crowded. Fests are not good. I think PGDAV College has to improve events and fests.

If you are just into academics, you can choose this college.
Placements: The history course does not provide placements. Only if they are into some internships, they can land some jobs. Otherwise, most of them opt for higher studies or prepare for competitive exams. Internships are offered by many companies like Paytm, Phonepe, etc. Internships are offered by the university itself during the new academic sessions for the admission of the administrative staff.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is limited and slow. The internet connectivity is not so good in the college. Classrooms are good but need some more ventilation, fans, and lighting. The college is under renovation so it should improve. Sports are available. The college ground is very good. The only best thing is our professors who are the second best. Food in the canteen is very affordable but not good in taste. The canteen is spacious. Games are available like table tennis, cricket, volleyball, and many others. The gymnasium is also one of the key things that the college has maintained well.
Faculty: Teachers are duly qualified and very knowledgeable in their respective fields. The course is very much relevant. If you study as per the course, syllabus, and guidance of the professors, you will surely have enough knowledge of history in almost every aspect of history. You won't miss anything. The syllabus will help you further in higher studies and competitive exams. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If you studied extensively during the semester, you won't have any problems in exams rather you will find it easy.
Other: I chose history because I wanted to know it better. The best thing about the course is that it is very extensive. If the course is a bit more compact, it would be great. Campus life is just average. The crowd is great. Fests are just a normal thing but not all fests are good. Extracurricular activities are extensively done in the college. There is a scholarship program for financially challenged students.

A life in PGDAV College (University of Delhi).
Placements: There is no placement in our course, B.A (history honours). Till now there is zero percentage of placements in our course, none of the students get any placement. Moreover, college do not prefer any placements and internships to students like us who pursue B.A.
Infrastructure: We have our department room, library and in library we have wi-fi facility too. We have one of the biggest canteens among all the DU colleges and have the biggest ground area too. We do not have any hostel facility in our college. We have good medical facility too.
Faculty: Exam level is the same as all colleges of Delhi University create. Other than the main exam, we have many class assessments and internal assessment tests in a semester. We have well-qualified, knowledgeable, and kind-hearted professors.
Other: The best thing about our course (History Honours) is that we can gain deep knowledge about History go for the government exams and can join the Archaeological Survey of India easily. If we talk about the improvements, infrastructure should be improved. Reissue of the book from the library is very difficult, so it must be improved.

It is a good college with a very good environment.
Placements: Almost 5 to 10% of the students got placed in our course. The percentage is low because our course is theory-based. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, the average salary package offered is 1 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. SkillVertex is the top recruiter. Almost 2% of the students got internships from our course. The sales executive is the top role offered here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are in good condition, and labs are good. There is Wi-Fi, but the maximum limit of usage is 30 MB. The library is organised way. There isn't any hostel, but the quality of canteens food is good. The biggest perk of our college is we have the biggest canteen all over DU colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and teaching quality is good too. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready for history sectors and some archeological too. Semester exams are above average, and the maximum number of students got 9 CGPA in theory subjects.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have to clear the UPSC exam. This course helps me to cover the history portions of UPSC. I wish our college to improve department funding. Fest is always excellent, and our college has good surroundings and environment.

Placements: Top profile offered are of sales development representative. This year the highest package was 12 lacs per annum.
The lowest package is 3 lacs. Top recruiting companies like skillvertex, zyoin, jobdost, storyxpress, HCL technologies etc. were the companies which offered great package.
Infrastructure: College has beautiful environment with lots of activities and teachers are very good. The canteen is the best of all. College has Wi-Fi which usually doesn't work but best is the small garden. College has a great ground where we can play every games.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and cooperative they gonna help each and every student during exams regarding any doubts. In every class water bottle and desks are marked with roll no assigned. Teachers do help out in case of emergency. Teachers are coordinative with us .
Other: Fest in our college are the best thing to do. Debates societies like Navrang, enactus, rudra etc. are the basic societies which give us different enjoyable environment. Fests organized are the best things to do in our life.

Satisfied with the college campus.
Placements: For commerce and science students our placement cell will be good. Last year we saw that 25+ recruiter visited our campus. Eventually for humanities students our placement cell will offer paid internship for around 6 - 8 months. Stipend is around 10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our campus is full of fun, the nearest metro station is south extension and vinoba puri which is in pink line and almost 200 meter distance. So no doubt for trouble free traveling. Huge library between college with a large amount of research paper, magazine and books. But there is no hostel facility available for students. There is 2 canteen in our campus. 7 acres campus. We have different laboratories, gym, wi-fi, ac, digital class room available, cafeteria, medical center, sports faculty + facility. Canteen timings are 9:00 am to 7:30 pm. Good quality of food and drinks with affordable prices. There are many hangout places in path of our college like hauz khas, hangout lounge and bar, etc.
Faculty: Every faculty of our campus has a vast experience in teaching. All the facility hold Ph.D. or M.Phil degrees. Infact many of them published lots of research papers. The teachers will always help us in all aspects especially in online classes during covid 19 pandemic. They explain each and every line of the book. Nowadays, in history course they usually share the live concept through live museum by google meet. As I have history honours in my course, it helps me a lot in solving upsc exams like cds cse, etc. It helps me in the field like archaeology, museology, etc. In fact in my class around 45% students are from science background, but they choose history. There are total 6 semester in my full course. A student needs 36% to pass in semester exam. The semester exam is not much hard but the evaluation will be.
Other: I have to clear UPSC exam so that's why I chose history honours. SC, ST scholarship is provided. The last fest name AAGHAZ held around February.

All are very nice and cool.
Placements: In our university, 92% of the students get placed in our college. The salary depends on his and her work. All the teachers are hardworking. They do everything to teach our subject, to improve the students' bright future and make them achieve choose their aims. All the teachers are good in behaviour with all the students.
Infrastructure: They provide Wi-Fi facility, library, coated classroom, sports, NSS, and NCC. The college canteen was very clean. The sports ground is very nice. The cleanliness of the college is good for both the teachers and students. The events were superb. The scholarship is very good. Most importantly, the connectivity is very nice.
Faculty: All the teachers are very nice to teach the subjects, and they work honestly and smartly. All are working hard to teach our subject. All the teachers are very good at behaviour with all the students. The college is overall very nice. I love my college. I am proud to be a PGDAVins.

The campus life here can be interesting but it depends on person to person.
Placements: The college has a really good placement cell and the opportunities are vast. Many renowned companies offer internships and placement opportunities to the students throughout 3 years of their college life. The college is very supportive when in comes to internships.
Infrastructure: This college offers a good infrastructure. It consists of two buildings, a new one and an old one. The classrooms have projectors but not smart boards, although I haven't really seen any projector being used. The library is huge and well maintained. One can find all the books related to the course. The system installed for finding books is an advanced one. There are many laboratories in the college and many computer labs with new systems are well maintained too.
Faculty: This college provides us with excellent professors. The faculty of this college is well versed though I feel that the teaching could be better. The curriculum is old and it has been the same since years, so there's a high need of improvement. Only 3-4 new subjects have been introduced according to the recent developments. The curriculum doesn't prepare the students for a corporate world, although there are many opportunities provided to improve skills like various societies, internships, etc.
