Amazing faculties, nice industry exposure to build contacts, needs improvisation at placement front

Placements: Around 65% of students got placed from my course. Do not know the average figures of the package, because it revolves around the job profile one is opting for. The top recruiting companies are Netflix, Vogue, limeroad, popxo, merry cauffer, quite a few celebrate stylist, reliance brand limited. Most offer roles are of a store stylist and visual merchandising, personal styling, content writer, graphic designer. Everyone gets an internship from college during the internship semester. Our placements even revolve around the semester time, for project based work (as freelancer).

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our course from computer labs, makeup rooms, library to history and details of fashion. We have amazing canteen, the medical facility is a little weak but has been improvising over time. We have amazing work facility like sewing rooms (for technical parts) and even have faculty members like 3D printers etc.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful and are highly experienced. They give their students good industrial exposure platforms and are themselves well knowledgeable and experienced in the industry. This course is all about getting you out in the industry like a professional. It is all about working on your ideas, learning the technical of implementation.

Other: I choose this course because my interest have always revolved more towards fashion. I choose fashion styling and image designing because it gives a good understanding of all lines in the creative field from graphics to details and technics of hair and makeup. The things that could have been better is, even more, detailing on graphics and history. Our college is all about extracurricular activities, we have different societies like dance, music, fashion etc. Our college keeps hosting quite a few fashion shows and take part in a lot of inter-college competitions.

I am satisfied with faculty members, great placements and a lot of exposure provided.

Placements: According to the college guide, in the previous year, around 98% of the students got placed both in national and international designing companies. Gucci, Channel, Versace and other companies like Disney, etc., are the top recruiters for our course. Roles offered to students vary from course to course, and roles offered in our course are designers, stylists and even assistant editors. The highest salary package offered is around 8 LPA to LPA. Mostly every student gets an internship based on their skills, usually with our Alma designers.

Infrastructure: A lot of facilities are available in our college, and Wi-Fi facility, classrooms, labs and everything is top-notch here. Even the library has sources and also provides reading and research materials from around the world. As it is a design institute, it also provides us with all types of software to learn and use.

Faculty: Faculty members here are really helpful and put efforts to help you throughout the process of a project. They not only help you in the creative aspect but also mentor and guide you when you face difficulties. They are a part of the industry and provide practical details like how the industry expects you to work. The course curriculum depends on every semester, and somethings it doesn't help directly, as may be the provided module isn't exist like what you expect, but you always needs to experience it.

Other: Pearl is an expensive institute, and the facilities and exposure provided by it are worth the money. I have chosen this course because I have an interest in this field. I want to be a stylist at the end of the course, and I have ample fields to opt with the help of the skills which I am currently learning. Co-curricular activities don't play a big role as there is very much work to do. However, always some interactive activities are conducted in our college.
