Really great exposure and good facilities.
Placements: I am currently in my 4th year and half of my batch is already doing OJTs and has received pre-placement offers. The highest package till now is 28 lacs, and the average package is 8 lacs. Companies like Trident, Raymond, Afflatus, H&M, etc. come during placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. The quality of the labs and equipment is great. All the classrooms have ACs. They have their own university hospital, university malls and university bistro. The food courts have various food options within their budget. They is a central library and the department's own libraries.
Faculty: The faculty is, in reality, helpful and cool. They don't get you bored. They make you industry-ready; you can work in any circumstances. The exams are pretty easy, too. You have a class assignment of 30 midterms and endterms of 70. All the teachers are well qualified.
Other: I chose this university due to its diversity and great exposure. There are various student organizations you can join or make one. The events are really awesome and you can witness various celebrities as well.

Really satisfied because they give a lot in terms of facilities and opportunities.
Placements: Students do get placed and LPU will show their association with big names like Micheal Kores and Tommy Hilfiger but just few students are actually well placed, I would say correctly placed because majorly, students are placed as Fashion Consultant at brand stores, which is not a desirable job after four years of training in fashion design. Top roles are assistant designers, assistant stylists, merchandisers and fashion consultants.
Infrastructure: Out of 5, I would like to rate it between 3 and 4 because it is moving ahead each day. Infrastructure is really good if compared to other non-fashion universities or other fashion institutions like INIFD. We are provided with Mac systems, the latest fusing machines, embroidery machines, laser cutting machines, HTHP machine for polyester dyeing and stitching machines in our labs, the library here is a treasure for a fashion student, we have WHSN subscription with which students stay updated, we have Pantone chips in our library, a coffee counter in the block, advanced dyeing and fabric test labs, current they are working on printing lab. A new bigger library is being built with a new better canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are really qualified and even the course gets updated every year. They call faculty members from other high esteemed fashion institutes and people from industry to update the syllabus every summer. We have really good faculty members for both Indian wear and Western wear, who have worked in industry for 10 to 23 years, which is really helpful for students. Students do become industry ready because they know the skills and how to get the things done can oy be learnt at the workplace.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to and the improvements happening every year has boosted up my confidence to think more creatively. Campus is really interesting, school of fashion organizes international educational trips for students, last year I went for my course in Man and Paris, then people from Lyon (France) came to our college for a project called silk me back, the university has really interesting activities around the earth, they have a gym as well. Major drawback of this university is over strictness. They are strict to the extent they should not be with students of this age.

Dissatisfied with the faculty. They are not at all professional.
Placements: They promise 100% placements, but my seniors didn't get good placements. Only a few students got placements from the campus. The jobs offered and the companies coming for placements are not at all good. They don't send students for a good internship. Our college is not a good college according to the fee.
Infrastructure: Labs are really good, and they have the advanced equipment. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned. We have our university hospital. Quality of food is good and hygienic. Hostels are not good according to the charges. The hostel food is the worst. LPU is on the main highway, so almost 25,000 students cross the highway daily. So, there may be a chance of accidents. Hence, the students should take care of this issue. They must take a step forward and make a foot over bridge for crossing the highway.
Faculty: Faculty are good, but sometimes they show attitude towards students. They always take personal issues to the professional level and start dominating students. The way of teaching is okay, but not good. We get industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful, but they should improve to a higher level.
Other: The campus is good. The crowd is also nice. There are many fests organised by DSA.

Other: Awesome college with awesome crowd and very good education system. The classes are also very good with good atmosphere of education. The campus is also of 800 acres. The facilities are also very cooperative and are very educated. More than 200 courses are there in college. Hostel of the college is also very good. Food in hostel is above average. As the collage is in Punjab so the food is very good.
