People are good in my college, but the faculty members are very poor at explaining.

Placements: The placement is very low, and those who get placed get placed at 3.5 to 5 LPA. The best packages go for like 8 to 10 LPA, which is not so good. Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and TCS are the main companies involved. There is a very low percentage of students who get real internships; most of them get them in their last year, just because. The students who get internships are the ones who get it based on their skills and themselves through the connections they make at events. SDE, UI/...

Life in PES College of Engineering, Mandya.

Placements: As in any college, the number of placements has decreased in our college too, still there are a few who are getting placed in good companies like Capgemini. Many are placed in TCS and many more. Placement department is conducting new programs like Super 100, iOS training, and many more programs to train students for placements.

Our college is currently decent in every aspect.

Placements: Placement is not that good. It is a little decent. The average package is around 3–4 LPA. The companies are also decent, mostly mass recruiters. Companies like Cognizant and other small ones come. So, please just enjoy and don't expect big packages from this college.

About PES Mandya consideration.

Placements: It does not have so good placements, companies come but at the end of the day, they can give maximum of 15 LPA - 20 LPA that too without recession period. If you want good placement from any college, you can go to Bangalore colleges at where companies come a lot so you can get opportunities a lot, not in Mandya. But here the fee is quite less compared to other colleges in Bangalore, if you are opting for something like civil, you can come over here.
