It’s a mixed bag with good placements and infrastructure, but faculty satisfaction.
Placements: 60% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 4 LPA and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. These are IT and CS-related roles. Companies, LTI, VC Techno Solutions, etc. The college has good placements and is expected to increase the placement rate in the future. I think it's the best as it feels.
Infrastructure:
Everything is average. Labs are good but need to increase printers, there are only 2 printers in the lab. The Wi-Fi is good. Classrooms need to be cooler, they are so much humid in the classroom. The hostel is good, and the food is also good. The canteen food is really good and affordable for students.
Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful, some teachers don't pay attention to students. They just teach for themselves, not for students. But there are a few teachers who really care for students and make they understand each and every topic properly. Exams are really important for understanding the topic. My first-semester GPA is 6.18.
Other: I chose this course because I like it, and it's really good for the future. It is even easier than engineering, so I can focus on my other activities too.

The college with value of money.
Placements: The college has good placement ratio. Every year more than 100 students get placed in the different companies. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys visit the campus for placement. The average package is around 4 Lacs per annum while the highest package is 18 Lacs offered to the management sector.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with all the good facilities and good sports ground. The college has fully fledged library with more than 10 journals and more than 1000 books of different streams. The college has good sports facilities and well-equipped computer labs as well.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are good and quite very experienced. The teachers take their whole effort to teach the students. The exams are taken on semester basis with monthly and weekly tests. The syllabus are taken according to the University of Mumbai.
Other: The college has its own fest named euphoria which engages all the students to take part actively.

Placements: The average package offered to B.Sc. IT, and CS students is 3.5 LPA. Our college provides many internship opportunities for students to learn more about industry skills. Top roles offered for our course are related to IT and CS backgrounds only with some of them being offered from LTI, VC Techno Solutions, etc.
Infrastructure: Our campus is vast! Our college provides all possible facilities for students' education. Many extra curricular activities are being organized other than sports. Our college is good when it comes up to sports related activities as well. There is also a gymnasium available for students on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready as it provides more knowledge and skills. Our college offers add-on courses for students to make them industry-ready in a perfect way. The passing percentage of our course is 99%.

The teaching here should be improved.
Placements: Placements offered for our course are excellent as there are top companies that recruit freshers. Some of the top recruiting companies are Amazon, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, L&T Technology Services, etc. Recently, 60% to 70% of students were placed in our course. Roles offered are software engineer, software developer, database engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of our college is very good. There are 3 big computer labs, a chemistry lab, a well-furnished library, and clean classrooms. There are good hostel facilities. The canteen is also very clean and hygienic. There are good facilities for students to make a good career in sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful to students, but some teachers don't teach well. We don't understand anything they teach. This course is very good for the future, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult, but if you study, it will be easier for you to pass them. The pass percentage in our course is 90%-95%.

Our college has good faculty members who help students to clear their doubts.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are kept neat and clean. There are three labs for the information technology department. All of them have properly working computers, keyboards, mice, and projectors. The physics and chemistry departments have two labs. Hostel facilities are available at the college. The quality of the food is quite average. Sports are also conducted on the district level. Games such as cricket, badminton, football, and basketball are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified for the subjects they teach, providing proper and correct knowledge of each subject. The courses are very informative, and other add-on courses are also available to gain extra knowledge. Semester exams are quite difficult. If you attend the lectures regularly, then it will be easy to pass every semester. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in the IT department. The best thing about college is extracurricular activities. Events are also held in a grand manner. Students at the college are all interested and are participating in add-on courses and other external activities. There are various events held in our college that are conducted with the permission of our principal, Dr. Lata Menon. We are all grateful to be a part of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. There are numerous roles available, such as volunteering or being a part of the core team for other events.
