Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences.
Placements: 150 members for a batch, and now they are planning for 250 members and the work for it is going on. Some students study here free of cost, while some pay in lakhs. An internship is provided after completing 4 years. Good patient flow, and all cases can be seen here.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available here, like Wi-Fi, and each department has a separate lab and demo room. The central library is there with lakhs of medical and paramedical books. Sports are the main pillar of the college. They train in basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, cricket, throwball, etc., for both girls and boys. The gym is also there for both girls and boys.
Faculty: The professors here are really friendly, and they don't show any work stress to us. They always welcome us at any hour with doubts, and it will be clarified in a very detailed manner. Our college follows the CBME curriculum, and as our college is under PU, it is a bit tough to pass.
Other: Actually, this was my aim from childhood. Becoming a first-gen doctor is my pride. Everything is perfect in my view. Our college conducts events every month. There is no month without events. Aura is one of the biggest cultural programmes here.

PIMS: A student-friendly college.
Placements: Our college offers many placement opportunities in top hospitals in India and all over the world. Every year, 150 doctors graduate from our college, and most of them are in good positions in many top-paid hospitals, and many got PG seats abroad as well.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a very special thing in our college because it's full of well-equipped facilities and also has a good campus life. We have AI labs, VR labs, and all departments have their separate labs. We also have Wi-Fi computers in the library and world-class books. Hostels are separate for girls and boys, and we have a big playground as well as separate courts for volleyball, throwball, badminton, etc.
Faculty: We follow the CBME curriculum in our college, and exams are conducted by Pondicherry University. The curriculum is very standard, and we have the most helpful and super-friendly staff who are from JIPMER, AIIMS, and many top universities. They are very helpful and super cool. Yearly, we have only one university exam, which consists of very standard questions, and the pass percentage is the 60-40 rule.
Other: We always conduct several events in our college, like Aura, Equinox, Cantata, Food Carnival, many workshops related to research and graduation, and the White Coat Ceremony. Overall, this college shares a lot of memories in our lives, and also at this cost, this is a very high-standard college and is placed among the top 50 best medical colleges in India.

Review of Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences.
Placements: Any student who has completed their 12th standard, applied for the NEET exam, and has an eligible score can apply for Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences. Among the students who have the expected cut-off, those who are selected can get admitted to the institute. MBBS students, after their four years of course can work in the in-house hospital itself, which is called the internship period. After that, they can get their MBBS degree and then apply to any other hospital in India and work as an MBBS doctor.
Infrastructure: PIMS has a well-structured, top-class infrastructure. There are international standard classrooms with seating arrangements for more than 200 students in every classroom, and the classrooms have centralized AC. We have a good laboratory in each department. There is also a very big confined library in which all the books are available to read, and the library is my favourite place. The campus also has a very big ground, on which all the sports activities happen. The games include football, volleyball, throwball, badminton, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Each department has more than 10 faculty members, which is a sufficient number, and all the faculty members are well-experienced doctors from the most renowned institutions like AIIMS, JIPMER, etc. We follow the CBME MBBS curriculum. Compared to other universities like MGR University and Pondicherry University, the exams are a bit tough, but because of our college's coaching, almost all the students pass all the exams every year.
Other: I chose MBBS because we live to serve people and help the diseased and needy people without any discrimination. The best thing about this course is that we can interact very well with the community, and we can know about their lifestyle, income, health, etc. Not only MBBS, our college also focuses on cultural and sports events. Our college conducts Aura, Equinox, Interbatch, Interhouse, Rooted, Cantata, Christmas celebration, Hostel Day celebration, Faculty Nights, Sports Day, Investiture Ceremony, etc.

Good infrastructure and facilities with qualified doctors
Placements: Everybody who clears NEET PG is placed. All areas are recruited in good colleges. 85 percent are placed. Almost 85–90 percent who clear final year are eligible for internships. We work in hospitals and PHCs. Different departments are available. To do Masters, there is no such department-specific restriction; this is high.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and good ambience with proper library facility. Hostel facilities are decent according to the cost. Mess is not that good though. Other medical sports and games facilities are all available. All inter-college events happen, inter-batch and inter-house events, and other college cultural's also happen.
Faculty: Good knowledge with experienced faculty members. As this course is filled with stress, semester exams are pretty tough. Pass percentage rule is 60–40, but we struggle a lot to clear. However, we manage to overcome, and at the last, we are named as doctors with 365 days of internship.
Other: It was my ambition.

It is the best medical science college in Pondicherry.
Placements: 150 member seats are available in a batch, and now they are increasing up to 250, and all work for that is going on. The internship program is 100 percent. The value of placements is more here. We get good recruitment in the best hospitals since we are students of PIMS, which is Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free Wi-Fi for students and all platforms like Uptodate and PubMed. The hostel environment is the best, and the food provided is hygienic. Our college provides all sports for girls and boys. There are also gym facilities for both boys and girls. The library has a lot of books to refer to.
Faculty: Many professors here are from JIPMER. They have the highest work experience. They support us, motivate us, and conduct mentor-mentee sessions. They deal with our difficulties. Exams are moderate, and if we study hard, we can excel here. They teach about all the study material access points.
Other: The batch here is a mixed cultural batch. There are many students from different states, and everyone joins together in one place.

Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
