PGIMER Chandigarh MDS Courses & Fees 2026

As per resources and information availaible, the initial entrance exam which is accepted by PGIMER Chandigarh for admission is INI CET. There may be a chance that NEET-PG is also conisdered for admission but INI CET is the considered for admission to majority of the courses. Other than this, PGIMER also conducts its own entrance exam for admission to various courses. So basically you have to score a good marks in NEET PG. I repeat NEET PG it isn't NEET (UG) . If you score a good marks in the NEET PG then you can apply here very easily and also you will be able to sit for the PGIMER official ENTRANCE test.

Yes, it is very tough. Admission to MD programs at PGIMER Chandigarh is based on the highly competitive INI CET exam, which is ranked among the toughest medical exams in India. The paper includes 250 multiple-choice questions with strict negative marking. Getting a top clinical branch (like Radio Diagnosis) requires a rank under 50, demanding years of rigorous preparation.

PGIMER INI CET cutoff 2026 was concluded after the release of the final round for admission to the MD, MS and MDS courses. 

For the OBC category students belonging to the All India quota, the final round cutoff ranged from 72 to 15018 for the above-mentioned courses. As per this range, the toughest and the easiest courses for admission were MD in Radio Diagnosis and MD in Forensic Medicine.
