SGT University MDS Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility & Selection, Admission, Application

Yes, SGT University offer admission to NEET-qualified candidates in the MDS programmes. Hence, the aspirants need to have a valid score of NEET MDS. There is no other provision for selection to the PG programmes. Candidates with the required score in the exam have to further go through a centralised counselling procedure for seat allotment.

For MDS course at SGT University, the minimum age requirement is 20 years. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the aspirant possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a college or university that has received DCI accreditation. In addition, the applicant must be a permanent or temporary member of either the State Dental Council (SDC) or the Dental Council of India (DCI).

NEET MDS is a computer-based exam of three hours duration with two time-bound sections. Part A was for 75 minutes and had 100 questions. Part B had 140 questions to be solved in105 minutes. The timing of the exam was 2 PM to 5 PM. There were a total of 240 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the NEET MDS syllabus. The NBEMS will conduct NEET MDS exam on May 2, 2026. The exam will be held online in the computer-based test mode. The MDS exam is of 3 hours.

No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3, 2025 in single shift. On May 30, 2025, Supreme Court directed NBe to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Candidates have to register online to submit application form for NEET PG 2024. As per the existing NEET PG pattern, the question paper comprises 200 multiple choice questions and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them.

SGT University reserve at least 25% of total seats for the students belonging to the state of Haryana. Out of this, 10% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) category candidates from the state of Haryana. This seat reservation detail is as per an old notification released by the university. Hence, the seat reservation may vary. Moreover, the university has a total of 825 seats for the BSc programmes.

SGT University admission process starts with registration for the preferred course. Candidates can fill out the application form offline or apply on the university website. SGT University selects candidates for most of the UG courses based on CUET scores. The university accepts CUET-PG for PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MPharm, etc. Besides, candidates must also fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for admission. 

SGT University eligibility criteria varies course-wise. However, the aggregate requirement for most of the courses ranges between 50% aggregate to 60% aggregate. For bachelor's courses such as BTech, candidates need a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12.  Hence, candidates with 60% or more in Class 12 can apply for admission to any of the UG programmes.

CAT is not required for SGT University Gurgaon. However, CAT scores are considered for admission to the MBA programme at SGT University Gurgaon. For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. Candidates who have appeared for CAT/MAT/XAT are also eligible for consideration.

Candidates who meet the SGT University BSc eligibility criteria become eligible for admission. It is basically the minimum educational qualification required for a student to be eligible to pursue the UG course. There are multiple components included in the SGT University BAMS fee, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, security deposit, etc. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 15.72 lakh. While the hostel charges are INR 6.3 Lacs and one-time fee is INR 52,500. Some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. The mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

SGT University offers UG and PG courses such as MBA, BPharm, BTech, BDS, MDS, etc. The courses are offered in multiple streams, namely Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 to apply for UG courses whereas, graduation is required to apply for PG programmes.
