SGT University MDS is a three-programme, divided into semester patterns. Some of the specialisations, in which the course is offered are Periodontology, Public Health Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology, etc. SGT University MDS course admission is done based on merit in the NEET MDS exam. Candidates shall be admitted to the programme through a centralised counselling process.
Further, aspirants should fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement prescribed by SGT University to take the national level. The required qualification shall be the same as that for the accepted exam as mentioned below:

The SGT University placement details for the 2023 drive have not been released as of now. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out. As per the report, 29 UG (4-year) Agriculture, 57 BDS, 36 MDS, 41 BPharma, and 15 MPharma students were placed in the 2023 drive. Further, 57 PG (3-year) Medical students were placed. The median package offered to UG (4-year) Agriculture students was INR 3.50 LPA. For Pharmacy courses, the median package ranged between INR 4.08 LPA and INR 4.32 LPA. For BDS and MDS courses, the median package offered during SGT University placement 2023 was INR 7 LPA and INR 10 LPA, respectively.

Yes, SGT University offer admission to NEET-qualified candidates in the MDS programmes. Hence, the aspirants need to have a valid score of NEET MDS. There is no other provision for selection to the PG programmes. Candidates with the required score in the exam have to further go through a centralised counselling procedure for seat allotment.
For MDS course at SGT University, the minimum age requirement is 20 years. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the aspirant possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a college or university that has received DCI accreditation. In addition, the applicant must be a permanent or temporary member of either the State Dental Council (SDC) or the Dental Council of India (DCI).
NEET MDS is a computer-based exam of three hours duration with two time-bound sections. Part A was for 75 minutes and had 100 questions. Part B had 140 questions to be solved in105 minutes. The timing of the exam was 2 PM to 5 PM. There were a total of 240 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the NEET MDS syllabus.
