SGT University MDS Eligibility & Highlights 2025
SGT University MDS is a three-programme, divided into semester patterns. Some of the specialisations, in which the course is offered are Periodontology, Public Health Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology, etc. SGT University MDS course admission is done based on merit in the NEET MDS exam. Candidates shall be admitted to the programme through a centralised counselling process.
Further, aspirants should fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement prescribed by SGT University to take the national level. The required qualification shall be the same as that for the accepted exam as mentioned below:

STEP 1: SGT University MDS Application Process 2025
The university application form is made available in both online and offline modes. Aspirants are required to submit the application form before the prescribed deadline. To fill out the SGT University MDS application form online, the steps to be followed are:
Step 1.1: Go to the university's official website (https://sgtuniversity.ac.in/index).
Step 1.2: Click on "Apply Online".
Step 1.3: Fill out the required details.
Step 1.4: Submit the form.
STEP 2: Shortlisting of Students
In the next step, the applications are shortlisted based on scores in the NEET MDS exam. A cutoff or selection list shall be released by the authorities to declare the minimum score required for selection to admission in MDS courses.
STEP 3: Counselling
Finally, selected students need to participate in the counselling round. During this round, document verification and seat allotment process are carried out. After all the formalities are completed, the enrolment is done successfully.

The application form is given to the candidate after a payment of certain fee amount. Further, the application form can also be filled out through the university official website. The NEET MDS 2025 application process began on February 18, 2025, 3 PM. The last date to fill and submit the application form was March 10, 2025, 11.55 PM. NBEMS had reopened the NEET MDS 2025 application window from April 3 to April 6, 2025, for the newly eligible candidates, who are slated to complete their internship between April 1 to June 30, 2025.
The NEET MDS 2025 application form was available only in online mode. Candidates have to fill the online application form, upload images and documents and pay the application fees in an online mode, with credit/debit card or net banking. Once the NEET MDS 2025 application form was filled and submitted, NBE sent an application confirmation to candidates.
The university admit candidates to the PG programme based on merit in NEET MDS/NEET-PG. Candidates with a valid exam score are selected and seats are allotted through a centralised counselling process. Apart from this, it is necessary that aspirant hold a valid BDS degree to become eligible for admission in this course. The eligible candidates can apply by completing the application process. Yes, the university may reserve certain seats (25%) for candidates, who belong to the state of Haryana. Additionally, out of 25%, the 10% of seats are for SC category candidates. For seat allotment under reserved categories, aspirants are required to submit the category certificates. The SGT University placement details for the 2023 drive have not been released as of now. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out. As per the report, 29 UG (4-year) Agriculture, 57 BDS, 36 MDS, 41 BPharma, and 15 MPharma students were placed in the 2023 drive. Further, 57 PG (3-year) Medical students were placed. The median package offered to UG (4-year) Agriculture students was INR 3.50 LPA. For Pharmacy courses, the median package ranged between INR 4.08 LPA and INR 4.32 LPA. For BDS and MDS courses, the median package offered during SGT University placement 2023 was INR 7 LPA and INR 10 LPA, respectively.

Yes, SGT University offer admission to NEET-qualified candidates in the MDS programmes. Hence, the aspirants need to have a valid score of NEET MDS. There is no other provision for selection to the PG programmes. Candidates with the required score in the exam have to further go through a centralised counselling procedure for seat allotment.
For MDS course at SGT University, the minimum age requirement is 20 years. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the aspirant possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a college or university that has received DCI accreditation. In addition, the applicant must be a permanent or temporary member of either the State Dental Council (SDC) or the Dental Council of India (DCI).
NEET MDS 2025 exam was conducted on April 19, 2025. Originally the exam was scheduled for January 31, 2025, which was postponed by almost four months. NBE announced the revised exam date on February 15, 2025, through a newspaper advertisement. The application process was conducted from February 18 to March 10, 2025. Owing to the extension of the BDS internship cutoff date from March 31 to June 30, 2025, the application window was reopened from April 3 to Aprill 6, 2025. NEET MDS is a computer-based test of three hours duration, scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM.
NEET MDS is a computer-based exam of three hours duration with two time-bound sections. Part A was for 75 minutes and had 100 questions. Part B had 140 questions to be solved in105 minutes. The timing of the exam was 2 PM to 5 PM. There were a total of 240 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the NEET MDS syllabus. No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3, 2025 in single shift. On May 30, 2025, Supreme Court directed NBe to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Candidates have to register online to submit application form for NEET PG 2024. As per the existing NEET PG pattern, the question paper comprises 200 multiple choice questions and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them.
