College life is decent, and clinical learning is good here. Overall, it is good for medical studies.

Placements: In our batch, many students got internship opportunities in the college hospital itself. Faculty members also helped and guided students during practical training. Clinical exposure was good because patient flow was decent in the OPD and wards. Overall, the learning experience was good and helpful for medical practice.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were average but manageable for students. Rooms were cleaned regularly, and security was also available. Classrooms were properly maintained and had the basic facilities required for studies. Labs and hospital departments were available for practical learning. Medical facilities were good because the hospital was attached to the college.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and experienced. They also helped during practical and clinical postings. The course curriculum was relevant for medical students. It focused on both theoretical and practical knowledge. Clinical training helped students gain confidence. It also improved patient-handling skills. Semester exams were not very easy. The pass percentage of our course was generally good.

Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the medical field. I wanted better clinical experience. The best part was the hospital postings. We got to interact with patients regularly. The college was well-connected to the city. Basic facilities were available nearby. Cultural events and seminars were also organised from time to time.

Candidate should also possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Candidate must have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 15th August 2024 or having qualifications that are not recognized as per the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed IMC Act, 1956.
