Our course teaching and certificates have their own value, but we are only lagging in placements.
Placements: The placements are not available in this college right now. But the management is planning to bring required placements to the students. And also planning to introduce STCW course in our college. The salary will be based on the post that which you are qualified. The salary package starts from 15000 to 50000 based on the company that in which you got recruited. The salary for the chief engineer is minimum 5Lakhs and maximum 7 Lakhs.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available in the college. The campus has many facilities like AC classrooms, a library, sports and games, for entertainment there is a TV room also. The college also provides medical facilities. The hostel facility is also available on the campus. The quality of food is the best. The best thing in the hostel rooms is 2 members per room, for the first year and second year, and 1 member per room for next two years.
Faculty: The teachers are the best qualified and their style of teaching is nice. Quality of the education is also good. Most of the teachers used to explain digitally or practically. Our college is affiliated to Andhra University and also affiliated to DG shipping. So, the course curriculum will be good.
Other: The college fests are also conducted. The scholarship facility is available. Entirely green campus with zero pollution. Available of SHIP in the campus.

Good faculty, facilities and a working ship on the campus for students' training
Placements: In 2017, we have 35 members who have completed marine engineering. Almost, 60% persons have got the employment in various shipping companies and before last year, we had 32 students including graduates from marine engineering in that batch. 90% members had got placements in ships. As per DG Shipping Rules, every college will have inspections based on that placements and will have points. The highest salary we got from the company was 800 dollars to the cadets in the 2017 batch and the least salary is 300 dollars.
Infrastructure: We have 10 acres of the whole college, a ship on the campus, a swimming pool, a workshop, a football ground, a shuttle ground, a volleyball ground, a hostel facility, various laboratories i.e. material testing lab, electronic lab, fluid mechanics lab, automation lab, etc. and a big library with more than 10000 books.
Faculty: All my faculty members have done PhD as per their subjects. All of them are very helpful and their methods are easy and very innovative. Also, they will teach via projectors for the visual method of teaching. We also visit various industries for a better understanding and easy learning.
Other: PRIME college is the best marine college in Andhra Pradesh which is situated in the city of Vishakhapatnam. Compared to all marine engineering colleges, only this college charges a less amount of fee for this course and for graduate engineers also, the marine course is offered in this college. I will say this is the best college i.e. after paying the course fee, no other extra charges will be taken by the management. The total fee is 10 lakhs for marine engineers including all facilities and the hostel fee, sports dresses, uniforms, shoes, etc.

Placements have been a major problem.
Placements: Placements are not offered by our college but they have been working on this and are expected to bring some companies. By the next academic year, there are no records of the college management providing any placements. Our seniors have passed out and found their own way of finding a job.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure includes Wi-Fi, fully equipped classrooms and doctors who regularly come to the hostel for any medical problems. Sports equipment are also good. The food is one of the problems of this institute. The mess menu cannot be changed.
Faculty: The academics are well organised by vastly experienced chief engineers. Excellent ship-in campus for practical knowledge. Simulators are also for better knowledge. They also guide us for the onboard scenario. Lack of placements has been the major problem.

Placements only have been a major concern. Rest everything is fine.
Placements: Placements are not offered by the college. But they have been working on this and are expected to bring some companies by the next year. They also have found a consultant for the current passout batch. Our seniors have passed out and found their own ways of finding a job.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure including Wi-Fi, fully-equipped classrooms, a doctor who regularly visits the hostel for any medical issues, good sports equipment. Food is one of the strengths of this institute. The mess menu can also be changed every 3 months.
Faculty: The academics are well organised by vastly experienced chief engineers. Excellent ship-in campus for practical knowledge, simulators also for better knowledge. They also guide us about the on-board scenario. The lack of placements has been the major problem.
Other: A very good marine engineering college with all the facilities provided. Well organised courses. The placements are a concern, otherwise, it is the best marine college in terms of fee structure. The campus is placed in a very peaceful environment, 30 km away from a city of Vizag. They also participate in seminars conducted in the marine department of Andhra YUniversity.

Other: This is the worst college in the India with no good faculty, no equipment mentioned in the booklets, mainly no jobs provided by this college administration. This institute mainly is for the business purpose and to earn money. My best suggestion is not to join this college.
