Convocation 2024 of PGPDS
April 18, 2024: The PGPDS Fall Batch, Class of 2024, graduated from Praxis Tech School in Bangalore, with Mr. Prasoon Mukherjee serving as the chief guest and Mr. Shuvam Sengupta as the guest of honor. Certificates of completion were given to the students.
Praxis Business School Hosts Interactive Lecture on Financial Shenanigans
Dr Progyan Basu was felicitated by Praxis PGDM student Shalini Shukla, class of 2023. Kamlesh Sajnani, Chairman, Praxis Business School and Prof Charanpreet Singh, Co-founder and Director, Praxis Business School Foundation were present during the session delivered by Dr Basu.
With over 30 years of teaching experience, Dr Basu has received the Allen Krowe Teaching Excellence Award (2012), CIBER Award for Teaching Innovation Global Learning (2018), Distinguished Teaching Awards for multiple years, as well as Teaching Innovation Grants from the University of Maryland. Through our Praxis Talk guest lectures delivered by distinguished scholars and industry leaders, Praxis strives to provide new perspectives and opinions to our students outside curricula, presenting a better opportunity for students to explicitly learn about fascinating topics.
Praxis Business School Conducts 3-day Business Communication Workshop
January 30, 2023: The 3-day Business Communication Workshop (Dec 23-24, 2022 & Jan 6, 2023) conducted by Praxis Business School for Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd Techno Electric & Engineering Co. Ltd #TEECL was concluded today at the Praxis' Kolkata campus.
The Corporate workshop was facilitated by Prof. Charanpreet Singh, Co-founder and Director, Praxis Business School Foundation and Shahida Hussain, Visiting Faculty at Praxis Business School.
Sujoy Roy, Group President, TEECL was the guest of honour for the workshop. He was one of the eminent judges of the presentations done by the corporate learners of the workshop, along with Prof Singh and Shahida Hussain. Mr Rajsekhar Sarkar of TEECL received the award for the 'Best Participant', whereas the 'Best Team' award went to Group 2 comprising Nayan De, Anindya Banerjee and Arijit Das. Sujoy Roy, and Avirupa Saha, Sr. Manager – HR of TEECL both were felicitated by Prof Singh and Shahida Hussain.

Placements: The college is one of the pioneering institutions in the field of Data Science in India. The highest package offered to the previous batch was 16 LPA and the average of 12 LPA. Companies such as Wells Fargo and EY came to the campus with offers on day zero.
Placements: Our college provides one of the best placement assistance to data science students. Placement provided for the previous batch was good. Many students got the highest salary package of 16 LPA and the average salary package is 12 LPA. Many top companies like Wells Fargo, Welspun Group, etc., visit to hire students.
Placements: College holds a good name in terms of placement. It maintains a record of placing at least 90% students from previous batches in companies with an average pay of 7 LPA. As students of current batch (July2022) we are instructed to prepare for the upcoming placement drive in November which is just 3-4 months after our commencement of the course.
Placements: Placements start after the end of the first trimester. The average salary package offered is about 10 LPA. Almost everyone got placed. About 95% of people got placed in the previous batch. Top roles offered are data analyst and business analyst.
Placements: Currently, our batch hasn't started with the placement process as it is a new one. Students in our senior batch have been placed with an average salary package of about 10 LPA. Most students generally get placed if they prepare well.
Placements: The institute offers campus placements & companies from different domains visit the campus. The placement record has consistently been above 90%. Students are placed as Data Scientist, Business Analyst, Data Analyst etc. In companies like Wells Fargo, Colgate Palmolive, Pwc India etc.
