Admission Process: For MBA admission, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and a valid score in CMAT. Candidates who get selected can participate in the counseling, which will be conducted on campus through the internet by visiting the official website of MP online. For undergraduate programs like BBA (Foreign Trade), BBA, and BCA, the institute conducts a group discussion and interview. Admission to other courses is done on the basis of entrance test scores as well as candidates' performance in the previous qualifying examination. Admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as B.B.A, B.A.L.L.B., L.L.M, M.M.C, B.Com Hons, B.C.A, L.L.B Hons are offered based on eligibility criteria and on the merit of the qualifying examination. The performance in the qualifying examination and previous academic record are used to determine admission to the UG program. Candidates seeking admission to Diploma programs must be present for the other interview process, and they get qualified by the performance of interview rounds. Direct admission can be availed if the candidate has more than 75% in graduation degree.

Admission to all courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. For entrance based admission, the cut-off ranges between 90-95 percentile. 
Eligibility Criteria: Master of Business Administration (Full Time/Part Time), Master of Business Administration (International Business), and Master of Business Administration (Marketing Management): Graduation/Post-Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate.

At Prestige Institute of Management and Research, the mode of application is online. The college offers both entrance and merit-based admission for all its courses. To be eligible for admission, candidates are required to fill out the eligibility criteria i.e., pass graduation degree for admission to PG courses. Additionally, for admission to its flagship course MBA, the college accepts CMAT exam, followed by MP BE Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to an MBA programme must be graduated in any stream with 50% aggregate, (45% in case of SC, ST and OBC, excluding the Creamy layer category of Madhya Pradesh) from a UGC/AICTE- approved university. 

Undergraduate Programmes: The institute offers undergraduate programmes in a number of specialisations, including arts, law, commerce, business administration, and computer applications. It also offers supplemental programmes, like a diploma in event management. Except for integrated law, which takes five years to complete, other UG courses have a three-year length. Candidates for the courses must have a minimum cumulative score of 50% in their 10+2 exams; for the BA, the minimum cumulative score is 60%. 

For Post-Graduate Course: Candidates seeking admission to an MBA programme must have earned a Bachelor's degree, and the admissions selection process takes into account a candidate's CMAT score. Candidates that are chosen can access the official MP website online to register for the campus-based counselling that will take place there. Candidates for diploma programme admission are required to attend the other interview procedure, and they are qualified based on how well they do in the interview stages.
