Vast variety of opportunities .
Placements: The placement ratio was good 2-3 years ago, but for 2024-25, only 10%-20% of students got placed. But, apart from that, the ratio has been decent, providing many opportunities for the unplaced students as well. Most of the roles are for hiring web developers, Jr. software engineers, business analysts, etc.
Infrastructure: All the labs have the latest PC's and the departments have quite a good infrastructure. It provides good opportunities for sports if someone is a district/state/national player. Hostels have strict rules and a common bathroom area as well. I would recommend going for private hostels or PGs if money is not an issue.
Faculty: Even the guest faculty members are good here. It all depends on the students if they're interested in studying. Semester examinations are easier than expected, and if the department is autonomous, students are more likely to connect with the PYQs because the same teachers often check the answer sheet.
Other: MCA offers a good and vast variety of jobs. As it is not just limited to be a developed. There are many job facilities for the students in various fields. An annual event is held every year with every batch to be given a chance to participate in extra curricular activities.

Placements are not satisfactory.
Placements: Approximately 30% of students got placed. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary was 3 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. No one got internships. Roles offered were full-stack developer, front-end developer, back-end developer, and SDE. Students had good technical backgrounds grabbed off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure was good. There was not any hostel or mess. There was a common health care center on campus. Good infrastructure was there for sports. Sports events and festivals were held throughout the year. Wi-Fi, library, and classroom were all good. Parking facilities were better.
Faculty: Faculty members were highly qualified, experienced, and helpful. Teaching quality was also good but the curriculum was not sufficient to make students industry-ready. Core subjects were included in curriculum but you need to learn many technical skills from anywhere else.

It is a fabulous college and department.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our course. They all got a good placement with good salary packages. The company environment is good. In the company, all are helpful. The salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, etc. Almost 100% of students got internships in Yash Technology and Impetus. Top roles offered are web developing.
Infrastructure: The university offers excellent Wi-Fi, a dedicated faculty, and a wonderful library with good infrastructure for both labs and classrooms. Hostels are comfortable. The food provided is both delicious and nutritious. The university offers B.Ed programs and various other facilities. Hostels maintain a hygienic environment with regular cleaning. The food served is prepared with health and safety in mind.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and helpful for the future purpose. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 50%. Some teachers are Ph.D. holders. Some are guest faculty and some are permanent who have completed their Ph.D. and more than 5 years of experience.
Other: I opted for this course because I have an interest in web developing. They should improve salary packages and more projects for internship and learning purpose. I am enjoying extracurricular activities and games.

They provide delicious and nutritious food. DAVV University offers a B.Ed program and other facilities. Hostels are kept hygienic with regular cleaning, ensuring that the food served is also hygienic.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They are good. The course curriculum is relevant and helpful for future purposes. Semester exams are moderately difficult. They are Ph.D. holders. A brief review of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Placements after pursuing BCA are not very high since it's only an undergraduate course. Some students do get placed but these are students who are exceptionally talented otherwise for decent placements you have to pursue MCA. For students who got placed after BCA, the package is much less around 2 LPA-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average as you would expect from a government college, labs are decent and are equipped with decent computers and Wi-Fi. However, buildings are old and classrooms are not very nice, but compared to other government colleges infrastructure is decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. They are ready to help you inside as well as outside the class. Course curriculum is also up to date with modern standards, however, some old outdated subjects are still being taught however that is the case in every college in India. Exams are moderate level and easy to score.

A much better option if you want government college in Madhya Pradesh .
Placements: For BCA, the placements depend on the department. The placement of IIPS is so good and the score is just good. The highest package of scsit is 12 lacs for BCA off campus. But as the placement head said, there is no on-campus placement for BCA; 3-year placements are only for Masters.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good enough. DAVV is a very beautiful place. People visit their to feel nature. But the departments do not have such good infrastructure. Each department has a separate library and one common library. The canteen is not luxurious but you can enjoy better tea there. There are lots of gardens, and there are very beautiful auditoriums.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very helpful and some are not but it is not so difficult to pass the semester exam because you just need 35 marks out of 100 in each subject. But the faculty members teach very well. There is not much practical knowledge in BCA here but the theoretical knowledge given by the faculty is the best. For B.Tech., DAVV is a better option.
Other: I chose BCA over B.Tech because in BCA, the subjects are easy and it will give us time to work on our skills. We will have enough time for an internship but in B.Tech, we have to be attentive to college and college subjects and BCA is a cost-efficient course.

Good college in infrastructure but not in academic.
Placements: I am in the school of computer science, and in the department of DAVV under Takshila Parishar, there is no placement for the students of the BCA batch, so this is too bad. Teachers say to do MCA, so you will get the placement. There are some companies that come for the MCA students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are too nice; the classes are so well maintained and thoroughly cleaned; the cleanliness is a good thing here; and there are two audits in the department, which are good and nice. The labs for the MCA students are good and the library is very big and good.
Faculty: The faculty is not qualified so the doubts and the interaction of the students with the teachers are not good. The course curriculum is good as it has 120 students with two batches of 60 in one batch but the curriculum does not make the students industry-ready but knowledgeable. The semester exams are easy; 33 marks are passing marks.

Best college in Madhya Pradesh for BCA course.
Placements: Various companies visit the campus for BCA student but not every year. Therefore, most students go for off-campus placement. Packages offered to BCA students are below 4.5 lakhs per annum. Wipro offer placement on contract basis. Most student purse MCA or prepare for NIMCET after completing BCA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is moderate. MCA lab has more facilities compared to other labs which are not up to the mark. Most computers in BCA lab are not working.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good as they make students understand concepts easily. Most faculty members are not so polite and give marks on the basis of attendance. The faculty also lack ample knowledge and have no industry-related knowledge. Semester exams are not organized on time. They schedule internal test but do not take them on time.
Other: I chose this course in this college because this college is the best in Madhya Pradesh for BCA. Curriculum is better compared to B.Tech in CS.

Mostly integrated like B.Tech+MBA, B.Tech+M.Tech etc is of 5 years tenure but in case of BCA+MCA, it's always 6 years.
