The placement scenario is not that good. The infrastructure is good, but not that worthy.
Placements: Consultant, business analyst and many more roles are offered here, but mostly, they are offered to engineering background students. Many students strived for summer internships, and they didn't get it until the end of the course. Mostly marketing companies visit our campus and recruit marketing course students.
Infrastructure: I didn't use the hostel facility as I opted for a flat on the rent near Matunga station. It is fully furnished, but the cost is a bit high, and also the owner is not that good. There is a drainage problem throughout Matunga, so we have to cope with that.
Other: I have chosen this course because it offers business analyst and consultant roles which are quite good, but non-engineers have to work quite hard to grab these roles as these roles are not relevant to their educational background. Technical specifications are the main problem for them. Not many events are organised here.

It is a decent college if you have a will to compete and learn.
Placements: Placements in our college are good for marketing and HR. Finance and operations lag. Companies like GEP, Morgan Stanley, CITI, IDBI, and Nestle do visit the campus, but the intake is very limited. More or less, everyone gets the internship. Roles like market research, sales, wealth management and general management are offered.
Infrastructure: All the classroom have Wi-Fi, but it can be connected in the laptop only. They have speed fluctuations, but it is manageable. It is located in the centre of Mumbai so comparatively the campus is well designed and includes a lot of things in limited space, but if you compare it with some residential campus, then you will be highly disappointed. The food served in the canteen is average and a little expensive.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are pretty decent, and if you maintain good relations with them. They are helpful and will give you guidance. The course curriculum is unique and very updated with the current market scenario. The mentors for the programme are highly experienced and quite helpful.

Great institution with a few solvable issues. Needs less of bureaucracy & hierarchy in the system.
Placements: WeSchool justifies its position of being just next to IIMs and IITs in terms of its ranking. It stands at par with other leading B-Schools in the country. About 70-80% of students definitely get placed and most of the remaining actually start their own enterprises, join their family business or arrange jobs for themselves. More or less students bag an average package of 8-9LPA. A 4-star review because the college could bring in many more better companies with the contacts it has, but sadly it doesn't use them.
Infrastructure: The college has all the necessary educational infrastructure for a state-of-the-art college. In fact, the first time you enter a classroom, it more or less leave you mesmerizing. The library, computer labs, the Bloomberg Lab, classroom, reading rooms all are amazing. Talking about the cons, what the college actually lacks is an in-house Wi-Fi network for mobile phones. The canteen is very pricy and not worth the money they charge. The sports facilities and gym are just about average. Also, the college has about 1500+ students including all the programs, but for so many students, the college has pretty small reading rooms. And the reading rooms get extremely crowded during exam preparation time. Talking about the hostel, the hostel pretty decent for the amount they charge. But it's a very old building and needs a lot of repairs. The manor drawback of the hostel is that it is situated about 3 km from the college and the students themselves have to arrange or look for conveyance. This creates a lot of problems as at times it is hard for students to actually find any vehicles to reach on time.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, well-versed and very supportive. Many teachers actually help children learn more by sharing their personal experiences from the industry. The curriculum is at par with the modern industrial practices and it does provide enough exposure to make students industry ready. The only con here is as I already mentioned "many teachers" help, but not all. There are a few faculty members who actually still resort to the old rote learning or theoretical learning practices where actually the teaching could be more practical.
Other: I am an eBiz student from the 19-21 batch. I chose eBiz as my previous education was relevant to the course and curriculum of eBiz. Also, it provided me with technical exposure as much as I needed along with education on management principles. The only suggestion I have for this college, in general, is that there needs to be less of bureaucracy and hierarchy in the system and more of compatibility between the various committees. The academic committee, placement committee, teaching staff, competitions committee and similar others should work hand in hand and should gel well with each other. Also, the college should accept and respect the suggestions of the students and should also consider them for implementation or at least discussion. A lot of times it has been observed that students are asked for suggestions but the suggestions just exist without even getting a consideration and the college management goes on to do what it deems correct. The colleges hosts many activities and events including the recently organised WeBizFest which was Welingkar's very own business fest but these are more from a learning and academic aspect. There were also workshops from MIT, Smart India Hackathon, Social Media workshops etc. The college definitely lacks an informal, extra-curricular fest.

It is a college which provides average salary packages.
Placements: In our course, many placements are done in IT field and least in finance field. They do not pay much attention to the summer internship. Executive placements are pretty good. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 9 LPA. Top companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Amazon, Colgate, and HP are recruiting good talented students from our college in large numbers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good but small as compared to other IIMS. They provide us with proper facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, air-conditioners, etc. The food served in the canteen is also good. We have a recreational area for playing indoor games. There is a gym for students. Charger ports are also available in each class.
Faculty: E-business has a vast range from teaching basic IT scenarios to current trends. Industry 4.0 technologies being used in various fields. How IT is helping finance with fintech, digital marketing contents, supply chain automation, HRMS software, IT security, etc.
Other: Weschool does have its business fest and sports fest. People from various top colleges participate in these competitions. I chose business is because of my IT background. It would be better if more IT companies visit the campus for recruitment for different roles.

Great Infrastructure, experienced faculty members but limited exposure.
Placements: Summer internship- more than 40-45 people out of 60 were placed. Most of the companies that came in were highly recognised. However, the profiles that they offered were fairly average. Some even came in with a finance profile and offered a marketing on-field job.
Infrastructure: We have almost everything that we require. However we do have internet connectivity issues most of the times. Apart from that, we have innovation labs that promote and support startup ideas and nourish them for the future. We have a gym and a personal instructor, we also have a playroom in the basement.
Faculty: The faculty that are associated with the course are highly learned gentlemen and women from the industry. Their experiences help us now and as well as in the future. However, it should be more industry (practical based) than a theoretical approach.
Other: I chose the course since it would nourish my company secretary certification. The lectures should be more practical than theoretical.

Not really it doesn't have to be related to coding. Business Analysts, Consultants, CIOs, Digital Media/Mktg, Banking/Finance, E-com, Logistics, HR are some of the roles. This course will give you that digital edge over others which is currently required in every business.
