- This is a residential type program that offers specialization in Finance & Accounting, General Management & Economics, IT & Operations, Marketing and, OB & Human Resources Management
- The course consists of an experiential project with partner organizations (such as banks and NGOs) and a classroom learning experience
- As part of The Summer Internship Project (SIP) at GIM, each student takes up live projects with corporates for a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks during the summer after the first year
- Under the student exchange partnerships, students attend a summer school or spend a full term at the host school such as University of Catolica, Portugal, University of Antwerp, Belgium, etc
- International Consulting Bootcamp is held every year in the month of September in collaboration between the University of Antwerp and GIM
- Student has an option of submitting a Masters Level Dissertation instead of a three-credit elective course with the approval of the Programme Chair
- Student who desires to study a specific topic not included in the list of electives may, with the permission of the Programme Chair, choose to do a Course of Independent Study (CIS)
- The PGDM curriculum comprising 6 terms is a judicious blend of theory and practice with the focus on building the necessary concepts, skills and competencies to augment career growth and is regularly reviewed in consultation with the Academic Advisory Committee comprising experts from industry and academia.

It is a good college, and it has an excellent environment.
Placements: Placements are average in our college. Placements are provided to students based on their performance, and also students should not have backlogs. Internships are provided to all students, and they are doing it in various companies. Some of them also opted to do a final year project in business analytics, which will be very helpful for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is perfect. All the classrooms and hostel rooms are air-conditioned, and classrooms have projectors. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus, whereas the library is good, and discipline is maintained in it. The food served in the mess is fresh. For sports, basketball court and football ground are available, and a doctor is always available on the campus. There is also an ambulance on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well qualified and very responsible for their jobs. They are strict but have in-depth knowledge of subjects, and they also understand students. They always ready to clear your doubts and will listen to you whenever you have any problem. The course curriculum is perfectly relevant and based on the current market scenario.

Very good college for management studies.
Placements: The placements in the college are good with most companies offering the roles in sales and marketing and human resource development. With internships provided to students on the basis of their performance and academics. There are many opportunities provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well and every kind of facility is available on the college campus including shops, gym, parking area, sports grounds, medical aids. The library is the most attractive with a good collection of modern books related to knowledge of the current market scenario.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and possess very good knowledge of corporate sectors. Their way of teaching is very good and many students find it easy to interact with them. They are very helpful. The course curriculum is descriptive as it provides all the material and skills that we have to gain for current markets.

May be as the closing cutoff in GIM for XAT is around 80%. You can try your luck. Also this XAT score can get you in other good b school.

You have not mentioned about the Management entrance exam in which you have scored 86.25 percentile. However if this is for CAT, Than the expected CAT cutoff for GIM is about 92+. While for CMAT, this may ranges between 90-95. Hence your chances for getting a call are moderate.

your marks are good and above the minimum requirement of 60 percent. so you can appear for the CAT exam. your extracurricular will be judged by the interviewer. apart from that do good in CAT exam.
