I'd say that the placement packages are below average in our college.
Placements: Students are eligible for campus placements from the 4th trimester onwards in our college. There were more than 300 companies that visited the campus like Nestle, Deloitte, EY, Schindler, and a lot more. One good thing about Welingkar is that the placements happen in umbrella form. So it's not restricted to branches. The average salary package offered was 9 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 15 LPA the previous year. About 90-95% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: The institute adapted to technology during covid well. The entire library was digitalised. We had a vast collection of newspapers, articles, and research papers available. Newspapers from almost 55 different countries were available for students to read. A lot of course-specific clubs, magazines, and associations were present in the college. We had centralised air-conditioned classrooms, a projector, and all the other basic facilities which were needed. Sports and extracurricular did not happen in the college as such but the college was more inclined towards competitions, innovative ideas, projects, and researchers.
Faculty: Welingkar had a large number of faculty members to teach and manage students. Most of the faculty members were Ph.D. holders and had a corporate experience of more than a decade at least. The course was designed to accommodate the current and future changes in the sector. Welingkar's curriculum had a trimester system and had both the MCQs and subjective questions. It was manageable but the problem was to score better as the college had a grading system.

Land of the opportunity provided to you and you should know how to utilise it.
Placements: All people got placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA for the retail batch. Top roles offered for our course are the floor sales manager or something related to territory sales managers. Talking about the internship, everyone from my retail batch got it on-campus only.
Infrastructure: There are many workshops and on-field visits to retail stores. This is for students to have practical knowledge while having theoretical knowledge as well. And faculty do their best whenever a student put forth anything before them. We have newspapers edition as well.
Faculty: Retail management has one of the best faculty ever. Dean Dr Swapna Pradhan is always there for guidance, and her teachings are really helpful. It is more towards the implication of theory rather than understanding what those theories are. Case studies are taken.
Other: I had a knowledge and inclination towards this field and want to get detailed insight into it. Also, the retail world is dynamic but booming a lot like one of the challenging sectors to be part of.

I'm really satisfied to be part of WeSchool.
Placements: All the students get placed from all the batches. The college maintains a 100% placement record each year. The lowest salary for retail goes to 6 lacs and the highest up to 15 lacs. The average salary goes to around 8.5 lacs annum. The scenario for other batches are almost the same.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully AC and Wi-Fi enabled. The seating arrangements give the proper feel of a professional course. The library is vast and contains all the necessary books required in ample quantities. The hostel facility is really affordable and reasonable compared to Mumbai.
Faculty: The faculty members are really good and have ample knowledge and experience in their field. All the doubts are always covered up and the students can communicate with the faculty members as and when they want. The faculty members provide us the industry knowledge perspective and not just the theoretical aspects.
Other: Retail management is a highly growing field in India. There's a scope of 91% growth in the modern retail sector in India. Indian market is volatile and rapid and does always provided ample opportunities as well as challenges to face.

College provides a good internship and placements. The infrastructure and facilities are the best.
Placements: It has been 2 months, and companies have started visiting the college for an internship. The roles offered by them are consulting, sales, IT, and operations etc. Even the companies which are coming are also offering pre-placement offers. Internship offers have just been started, so don't have much to say about it.
Infrastructure: The facilities available are free Wi-Fi and IT labs. Classrooms are greatly designed, and the library has great books, magazines and journals. The quality of food is also good with reasonable pricing. They also provide a gym facility.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Generally, case study based teaching is done so that students can relate it with the theories. Students are also assigned projects for the theories done in the class, and also being doing store visit to know how things work in the retail sector.
Other: I have chosen this course because the retail sector is very dynamic and it's growing day by day. Students have a great opportunity in this sector.

Good infrastructure, faculty and industry oriented course, but needs to work on placements.
Placements: Companies visiting the campus for placements are good. At most, a median salary according to the market standards is provided. A little cooperation is required between the placement cell and students. Placement process should provide clarity to candidates on the roles they will perform.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure our college is up to the mark. It is highly focused on learning ergonomics. The infrastructure provides a vibrant learning environment. Medical amenities are available on the campus, and there is also a central library. Every floor has a fire extinguisher for safety. Sports are highly encouraged in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members have rich industry experience. The course curriculum is designed according to new market trends. Teaching quality is excellent. Immersion programs in the curriculum provide insights into the corporate world. Faculty members share their experiences of the industry frequently.

Hello, For PGDM courses, the CET cutoffs are quite lower than that for the MMS courses. For the top 10 colleges, it would be at least about 90 percentile+. Good luck!

Based on last year's cutoff, you are required to score a minimum of 90 percentile in MHCET.

I feel, it's somewhat difficult in this case as it depends on there students intake. But still, let's hope for the best. Even there are other courses also. You can swap there if needed. Generally waiting list gets cleared. But it's unpredictable. All the best!
