B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2029

My best decision is choosing PGIMS Rohtak.
Placements: Out of 82 students, around 79 students secure government jobs in AIIMS, PGIMER, PGIMS, and other government hospitals. All students get paid internships. After cracking NORCET, students get an annual package of 10–15 LPA. In other government hospitals, they get a package of around 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure and hostel are very good. All the equipment required by students is available. It is accessible to everyone. Food in the mess is hygienic, homelike, and affordable. Students participate in different sports activities. The playground for students is huge.
Faculty: Teachers are intelligent and cooperative. They are highly qualified and come from reputed universities. The communication skills of teachers are good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are easier if a student studies throughout the year.
Other: I chose this course because someone I know recommends this course and this college. Events and fests are arranged by the faculty in a very decent manner.

My best decision, CON, PGIMS.
Placements: From the previous batch, out of 82 students, 78 got jobs in AIIMS, PGIMER Chandigarh, and PGIMS Rohtak, and joined the Civil Services UPSC, working in different fields. B.Sc. Nursing offers many opportunities, such as Nursing Officer, Senior Nursing Officer, ANS, DNS, and NS.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available for us in the college. Before performing any procedure on a patient in a clinical setting, we have to practice on dummies, and various equipment is available for practice, like a Sphygmomanometer, a Laryngoscope, a Glucometer, a Pulse Oximeter, a Dressing Tray, a Tourniquet, a Vacutainer, etc.
Faculty: The staff of my college is knowledgeable and skillful. Most of the teachers have 12-15 years of experience. Not only do they explain theories, but they also teach clinical procedures, how to communicate and interact with patients, and how to maintain IPR with patients. The difficulty level of exams depends on students; if we study regularly and learn what has been taught in the classroom and clinical, it is very easy.
Other: Our batch starts in 2025, and 82 students are selected through the entrance exam. The main reason that I have selected this course is that I want to provide care to the sick and relieve their pain so that they can live their lives peacefully and happily.

It is a very good nursing college with strong clinical exposure.
Placements: There are no direct placements in nursing. Students can either work in private hospitals or government hospitals as staff nurses. However, most students choose government jobs because of high salaries Rs.70,000 - Rs.90,000, which requires passing a written examination with a fairly good success rate. Some students choose to pursue higher education such as MSc in Nursing, NPCC, etc. In private settings, it is easier to get a job after being trained in tertiary level hospitals, but the salary is low (25-35k).
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big, well-ventilated, all classes have projectors in working condition, and some have smartboards as well. Simulation labs for different subjects are available, and practicals are conducted in labs. The library has the latest journals and books and Wi-Fi facilities. However, there is no canteen on the college premises itself. Medical facilities are available as the hospital is nearby. For sports, there is a proper stadium with all necessary equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and very well experienced. Many of them also have doctorate degrees. However, there is a shortage of faculty. The curriculum follows the standard syllabus provided by the Indian Nursing Council, making it easier if we want to work somewhere else other than Haryana. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Campus life is good and a mixture of academics and extracurriculars, with yearly fests, sports events, and all festivals being celebrated. Scholarships are mostly provided by the government to EWS, BC, or SC/ST students. It's value for money because the fees are low compared to private colleges, and you can become financially independent early on.

My best decision, CON, PGIMS.
Placements: Last year, among 82 students, 78 students secured a government job in my. College. They were recruited in AIIMS PGIMER, Chandigarh, and PGIMS Rohtak. Because here we are surrounded by many knowledgeable teachers, with the support of whom students excel in the field.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so good. Students get all the stuff like BP apparatus, stethoscope, etc. Related to the hospital, so they can learn the things. Projectors are used in every classroom so the students can study through PPT. Sports facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are so intelligent, like they know a lot of things. They are not just bound to book knowledge but also use their personal experience. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are easier if a student has worked out thoroughly throughout the year. The passing percentage is almost 99%.
Other: I chose the course because someone in my family motivated me about the course and the college. Students also get different scholarships. Events and fests are also arranged by the college decently. The campus is so beautiful but small.

College of Nursing at PGIMS, Rohtak- Best decision of my life.
Placements: Out of 3 government colleges in Haryana, PGIMS for B.Sc Nursing is considered the best. 97 percent of students after completing their course of 4 years secure their job in government sectors and AIIMS as nursing officers and in the teaching line. Students get to participate in other programs. The stipend offered in internships is low during our course, like we get Rs. 500 in the 1st year, and it increases in the 2nd, 3rd, and final year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so good. We feel like we are in our home. Hostel staff members are supportive. Every time we face any problem, it gets resolved within a few hours. Mess is so neat and clean. Food is healthy and homelike.
Faculty: Faculty members are superb and lovely. They are always ready to help students. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They teach only relevant topics and not some random things. They give us practical knowledge to work efficiently in clinicals. An impressive part of PGIMS is that students explore the clinical area from the very first year. They get to take part in the hospital. Teachers are cooperative.
Other: We get to explore extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, sports, etc.

It is the best medical college in Haryana. Our teaching staff is well-educated and experienced.
Placements: 70 to 80 percent of students get placed after this course. Packages offered depend on students' skills, but on average, it is Rs. 96,000 per month, which is a very good amount. No companies visit the college for placements. 100 percent of students got internships, which is part of our course. The top roles offered are MD and DM.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. There is no Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well ventilated and fully air-conditioned. The library is good, well-ventilated, and fully AC. Sports facility is great. All sports are available on our campus, like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and badminton. A canteen is also present.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very helpful to us. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. University exams are held annually and not semester-wise. Exams are very competitive and tough. There are two types of exams, theory and practicals.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a doctor. The best thing about this course is dealing with patients. The thing that I want to improve is my ability to interact with people. There are lots of events in our college, like Spardha, a sports meet, and Diwali mela. ARMSCON is our annual college fest, which is held every year.
