"Though both Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management and the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) Pune offer commendable hospitality programs, IIHM Pune is considered to be much older and has a more extensive network for internship and placement opportunities. It has a broad reputation spread in the hospitality industry, whereas Shri Shakti would be quite local or specialized; hence better placed depending upon what you need with regard to exposure—be it placement opportunities or infrastructure—then clearly IIHM Pune would be a better option for broader industry exposure."

Depending on your long-term objectives attending a private institution in Pune and majoring in mechanical or civil engineering may be a good choice. Some well-known private universities have strong professors, industry ties, and facilities. The calibre of instruction and placements however can differ. The college can offer good exposure and employment chances in industries like manufacturing and design (for mechanical engineering) or construction (for civil engineering) if it is founded with strong industry contacts.Nevertheless tuition is more expensive at private universities and the return on investment may be poorer if the institution lacks solid industry connections or placement history
