Review of Punjab College of Technical Education.

Placements: Almost all the students have been placed in different companies. The top recruiting companies currently are ITC, Vardhman Nirmal Bagh, CICU, HT media, PCTE, and TAM Digital. Most of the students are recruited after the internships and different roles are offered to students for their internship during this course.

Infrastructure: Classrooms of the college are structured in a well-organised manner with proper seating and screens where topics are being explained by the faculty. The library has almost all the books for the course. Beyond it, we can easily find the sample papers also in the library. The quality of food available in the canteen is also good, and proper hygiene conditions are also taken care of.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very kind. Mostly, all the teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable about their subject, and the teaching quality is such a way that students can easily understand the concepts. The course curriculum is relevant, mostly for students who want to pursue the course in business. It makes students industry-ready, as this gives practical exposure to how machines are run and how business is conducted.

Other: I chose this course to get more knowledge about business. How to conduct business and what activities are involved in it. The best thing about this course is it makes a student industry-ready person who will be the next manager or the CEO of a company. Also, in this college, different events and fests are conducted, which creates a good environment. The surroundings of the campus are also very clean. The best thing is that in two weeks there are different types of workshops and seminars.

It has qualified faculty, celebrity visits, fest culture, internship, and good placements.

Placements: I am currently pursuing the first year of my MBA course. The course provides good internship and placement opportunities for students. In my batch, everyone got paid internship opportunities at companies like HDFC Bank, Vardhman, Hindustan Times, Times of India, and ITC. Internships help students gain practical knowledge and understand how different companies work. Many students from my senior batch received placements in reputed companies like HDFC Bank, Jaro Education, Paytm, and Naukari. Com. I am not aware of the exact status, but our seniors got placed with a package of 12 LPA. Roles like HR executive and business development executive are offered here.

Infrastructure: The MBA department provides good infrastructure with fully air-conditioned classrooms, smart boards, and projectors. Teaching is mainly done through presentations, case studies, and practical discussions instead of only books. The library has access to almost all course books and study materials. The food quality is very good on campus. It has a common room with a table tennis and a snooker table. Overall, the college provides a comfortable academic environment with good learning and creation facilities.

Faculty: The MBA faculty members are highly qualified. Many teachers are PhD holders. They are excellent at teaching and have industry experience. The teaching quality is very good, with practical examples and case studies that make a concept easy to understand. They regularly conduct industrial visits for students to different industries to get practical exposure. The college also provides internships in the 1st year and placement opportunities in the 2nd year. Semester exams are well managed through two internal MSEs before finals, which helps students prepare thoroughly and improve time management. The pass percentage is 40%, and almost all students clear the university exams.

Other: I chose this college because it is highly recommended by my previous teachers, and it truly helped me grow personally. The best part of this course is the focus on practical learning, communication skills, presentation, industrial exposure, internship, personality development, regular presentation, and participation in events, which improved my confidence and public speaking. The campus environment is very active with events, competitions, start-up activities, and celebrity visits. It provides students with a great opportunity to explore their talent and build confidence. Overall, it is an excellent place for students who generally want to prove skills and become industry-ready professionals.

Best college in terms of return on investment.

Placements: I am a passout of the MBA (Marketing/HR) 2020 batch. The college provides 100% placements, which means each and every student was offered a job. However, there were a couple of students who did not join their respective companies either because of the location constraints or because of the role or salary constraints, but the college did offer them jobs. The average package that was offered during our batch was 4.5 Lacs per annum. The lowest package was 2.8 lacs per annum, and the highest package offered was 10 lacs per annum, which was offered by Byju's company.

Infrastructure: Although I was a day scholar and I did not stay in hostel, I always heard from my hostel friends that the hostel enables free Wi-Fi. Apart from that, all our classrooms were fully air-conditioned, and for smart learning, there was a projector in each and every classroom. Then there are conference halls and seminar halls for special guest lectures. A library where you can get any book issue for yourself for free because the cost of books is included in the semester fee itself. There are multiple cafeterias on campus, and the quality of food is extremely good. Talking about sports, there is a basketball court, a volleyball court, a badminton court, and an indoor sports room where there is a pool table, a tennis table, and various other facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members at PCTE were highly professional and experienced. Most of the teachers were doctorates, and the others had relevant industrial experience, which helped the students a lot. The college follows an open door policy, which means you can visit any teacher at any time, and in fact, any student can approach the director of the college at any time. Talking about the course, curriculum is very strategically made and shared with all the students at the beginning of the semester. It includes every minute detail, starting from the syllabus to how it is going to be covered, number of projects, relevance of those projects, time of presentation, industrial visit, et cetera. In regards to the examination system, there are two midterm exams and one final examination in every semester. The final examination of the semester comes from the university, which comprises 60 marks in total, and the rest of the 40 marks comprise the two midterm exams conducted by the college and some other parameters, like presentations, projects, assignments, etc.

Other: My major reason for choosing the Masters of Business Administration as a course was getting placed in a reputed company at a good managerial position, and I am not disappointed at all as I am working in a very reputed brand, which was the campus placement itself. PCTE does not only focus on academic excellence but also provides you with ample opportunities to exhibit your extracurricular skills. There are multiple events and festivals organized on campus, where students not only get to participate and show their extracurricular skills but also get to learn a lot about the practical aspects of life. For instance, there is one mega event organized every year in the college, which is called Koshish. Every class has to bring sponsorship for that event, which teaches students a lot of things like marketing, convincing, etc. So one thing that PCT definitely does is make the student industry ready in each and every aspect.

It is a college known for placements.

Placements: Almost all the students who apply for placement are placed by the college. The average salary package ranges between 4 - 5 LPA. The maximum salary package offered by Byjus is 15 LPA. Berger, Upgrade, Veeba, and various other companies recruit candidates from our college.

Infrastructure: The college has comfortable facilities with an air-conditioning system in the classrooms. Moreso, boys' and girls' hostels are located in separate places and far away from each other to maintain security and discipline. The college also provides gym facilities to the students.

Faculty: All the teachers in the college are highly qualified and hold a doctorate degrees. The course makes the students ready for the industry as the college provides field visits to industries and also provides internships to the students to make them familiar with the working of the industry.

Other: I want to pursue post-graduation in the field of business which I have taken a master's in business, to learn and develop in the field of business. Every year college conducts its fest known as koshish in which students performs various group dance, bhangra, and various other events.

Punjab College of Technical Education is the best college for MBA .

Placements: Most students get placed in this course. The highest package is around 10 Lacs, the lowest is around 2 lacs and the average is 6 Lacs. Top companies like Upgrad, TATA, Starbucks, Baba papa, Perumal, haua and H&M. 90 percent of students get internship in SBI life and Ageas life federal insurance. .

Infrastructure: Campus has Wi-Fi everywhere. There are computer labs and for Science, there are labs too. Classrooms are big, equipped with AC and are very neat and clean. Library is very big around 100 students can sit at a time there. Hostel facility of campus is very good. Mainly those students who are from other cities live there and also foreign students also. Quality of food is good and medical facilities are good.

Faculty: Mostly all senior teachers are Ph.D. holders and have experience of working in many good companies and some are good industrialist of city. Quality of teaching is good. The curriculum gives more emphasis of practical than theory and give exposure to industrial life. Semester exams are easy and based upon current affairs.

Good infrastructure and placement drive with other co curriculum activities.

Placements: Around 95% of students placed in last year with maximum package of 10 lakh per annum. Presently there came companies like Pand G, flipkart, SBI Loreal, Berger and many more are coming all the students are there for a 2 month internship programme and then evaluated on their experience basis.

Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure and good quality of hostel life. The canteen provided good food and there are other types of food provide too in the campus. The sports facilities are also good with various indoor and outdoor activities for students like badminton, volleyball, cricket for outdoor and table tennis, pool for indoor activities.

Faculty: Teacher's are helpful and very qualified and courses opted by students make them industry active and ready. The semester exams are not so difficult and there are 2 or 3 MSE before the exams and apart from that each subject has a separate presentation for clearing the subject.
