QISCET is a mid-tier engineering college in Andhra Pradesh.

Faculty: Top-ranked or autonomous colleges often set challenging question papers that focus on conceptual understanding and application. Strict evaluation can make scoring higher more challenging. Consistent study and attending classes regularly make exams easier.

It has really good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college are very friendly, and they clear our doubts without any hesitation. Semester exams are not that difficult. We can easily pass if we study well. In our class, 90% of students have passed all semester exams.

Decent academics but lacks an engaging campus life and real-world exposure.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite helpful and have strong subject knowledge. Most are qualified with postgraduate or doctorate degrees and provide good academic support. The teaching quality is satisfactory, and doubts are usually cleared promptly.

It is a good college with decent faculty members and good placements.

Faculty: Faculty members are very experienced and knowledgeable. The syllabus they are teaching is very helpful for us. They also make us do hands-on training on things, which is also a nice way for us to learn and get hands-on experience. The course curriculum is relatable and understandable.

Satisfied because of good lectures.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful during the exams and very knowledgeable about the subjects. Very nice faculty. Engineering programs typically cover essential subjects, such as programming, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering. These are crucial for many tech roles and give students a solid foundation. Exams in most engineering colleges test both theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills, generally requiring consistent study rather than rote learning alone.

Facilities and infrastructure are good.

Faculty: The faculty is good, and semester exams are strictly conducted. If invigilators see a student with notes, they take the answer sheet immediately and punish the student by taking them to the HOD. Exams are strictly monitored in my college.

It is good, but the college needs to improve more in facilities, quality of education, and placement

Faculty: Most of the faculty in my college are qualified but not necessarily knowledgeable. While they are qualified, many do not have a strong foundation in their particular subjects. However, they provide assistance as much as they can and are very friendly and helpful. There is no industry-ready course available.

Same syllabus as ECE, even for VLSI students.

Faculty: The VLSI faculty members are somewhat disappointing as there is no proper guidance for using the VLSI lab (Cadence tool). Students often have to resort to learning the tool’s terminology from external sources like YouTube. The college timings are long, running from 9 AM to 5 PM, with little value addition. Even support staff like watchmen can be quite rude. The CRT classes are irrelevant for VLSI students as they primarily focus on software coding, application, and web development.

Overall, the college is good, with adequate infrastructure and supportive faculty.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, very helpful, and the overall teaching quality is good. The curriculum helps students gain industrial knowledge and encourages self-learning. The semester exams are relatively difficult, and the pass percentage is similar to other colleges.
