Review of RNS Rural Polytechnic for Diploma

Placements: Selected students get placements comprising the percentage of 30%. The highest package ever got by a student is 6 LPA offered by a company. Here, students are approached by Mahindra, PDW, and L&T. Every student can get an unpaid internship but paid internships are limited. Roles offered are Site Engineer, Construction Contractor, Plain Developer, etc.

Infrastructure: We are provided with nice and good classrooms which are well furnished, fully working labs and equipment of labs, relaxing library with lots of books. RNS hospital is located 300 meters of distance apart from here for any medical need. We have an ordinary canteen and the mess is only for hostel students. And different hostels are allotted for particular semester students.

Faculty: The teaching staff are well trained and have good experience and helps in every field of Construction and Engineering. They help in every examination and in the recruitment process and give their best in getting us jobs or placements in good companies. Also, they refer us to the best possible career options. The exams are conducted by the DTE directorate of technical education and the passing percentage is 45%.

Other: The college conducts extra curriculum activities and fests and events as well are conducted there. There are more than six scholarships available and management seats have different scholarship rules. The campus is surrounded by greenery and a hospital. Also, there is a big Temple known as Munrudeshwar Shiva Temple located nearby.
