At the UG level, the institute offers a three-year full-time programme. The programme consists of six semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. BSc is offered in Biotechnology and a candidate needs to score at least 156 credits to pass the examination. Admission to BSc programme is based on a common entrance test conducted by BVDU, namely CET BBT. Candidates, who have completed Class 12 in Science stream, can apply for the same. RGITBT MSc Admission 2021

The institute offers a MSc programme in three different specialisations. MSc is offered with a course duration of two years, with a total of four semesters. MSc admissions are done through an entrance test conducted by BDVU, namely CET MBT. A candidate must have secured at least 50% aggregate in BSc, to apply for the same. PhD programme is offered in two different specialisations. The institute offers a PhD programme with a minimum course duration of three years and a maximum of six.
