One can become a great student in this college.
Placements: Many companies visit the campus to recruit students. Students can get a chance to join the companies through campus placements. Companies which are famous worldwide select the students based on their abilities.
Infrastructure: The college is beautiful. The campus surrounding is highly attractive. The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi facility. It has one of the biggest libraries which always provides a new addition compound. Smart classrooms and smart seminar halls are available in the college. Hostels are very good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are always helpful to students. They understand the needs of students. They always teach according to the university rules and provide additional knowledge. The college is ranked well in the university, and it's all because of faculty and students only.
Other: The college is always ready to provide scholarships according to the needs of students. The campus is ragging free.

Our college has a perfect infrastructure.
Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed with the help of our college reputation. The remaining 40% of the students have joined in jobs on their own. We gained more knowledge from staff members. Best companies like TCS, Bosch, HCL, Dell, TVS and many more are invited by staff members to offer placements for us.
Infrastructure: The canteen has an open space here, and there is a good infrastructure in it. There are moderate classrooms, and there is a separate Wi-Fi enabled seminar room. Many seminars and video classes are conducted in our college. Our college is eco-friendly, and there is not even a single disappointing thing.
Faculty: Our college has better teachers, and they are very friendly that none of the other teachers can be this much friendly. The course curriculum is absolutely good. Notes will be provided so that we can able to study the material easily on our own. Examinations and assignments are conducted only as per our wish, and they are surely in an easy way.
Other: It is one of the most friendly batches, and we had more joyful moments with students of all departments. Most of the leaves can be rearranged only by our staff members.

Our college provides good facilities but bad placements.
Placements: Almost 40% to 50% of students get training in the first year. Salaries and stipends offered to students and range from Rs. 8,000 per month - Rs. 16,000 per month. Students are placed according to their efficiency, marks, skills, and knowledge. The campus is well disciplined and safety. Almost 80% of the students got placed in Zohoransky, Motherson, Watertec, Adroit, Prominence, India Japan Lightnings, Valeo, TVS, and Brakes India.
Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities. Lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, surface/cylindrical grinding, vices, and measuring instruments are available for students. But Wi-Fi is not available. Classrooms are available, and the library is not satisfactory. Hostel in our college is good, but the food served is a bit bad. Sports committee is good, but sports instruments available are not of good quality.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are teaching some simple things only. They don't know about instruments and lab works. Sometimes they are only passing the time in the classes. Some teachers teach very well, and they also motivate us.
Other: I opted for this course because it is good and has many opportunities. The college should provide more knowledge, lab timing, lab machines, and advance programmes.

Ranganathan Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50% (45 % for reserved category). The qualifying degree examination can be 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern or 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern or B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. or 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering/Civil and Structural Engineering. Candidate belonging to reserved category must have 45% in qualifying examination.
