Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) - Batch of 2021

Lacks growth and support.
Placements: As ours is the first batch of the college, placement opportunities are still in the developing stage. Clinical exposure and structured placement cells are limited, but efforts are being made to build future opportunities for students. Clinical is almost nil.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is basic with limited facilities. Classrooms and labs serve the purpose, but need improvement. Hostel and sports facilities are not very well developed, yet the campus provides a manageable learning environment. They don't even share PPT.
Faculty: Faculty strength is limited, with only a few being truly supportive. Though the curriculum is as per university norms, actual academic activities and clinical exposure are less. Exams are conducted regularly, but overall, studies need improvement. And only motivates.
Other: Being the first batch, we face challenges like limited infrastructure, faculty shortage, and less clinical exposure. However, the experience of building the foundation of our college gives us unique responsibilities and learning opportunities.

No batch has passed yet, so there is no idea about placements. The infrastructure is not very good,
Placements: The package offered is 3.6 LPA. Patanjali, Sri Sri, and other renowned companies, such as Dabur, are really famous. Roles include medical officer, consultant doctor, and the option to open your own clinic. In the non-clinical field, you may go for teaching. Apart from that, you can see if you want a decent BAMS college.
Infrastructure: Theatre, classroom, library, and hospital are available. Mess food is decent, and the water is good as well. The beds and infrastructure are just okay, but at times, the walls get fungus and leakage. However, it's not that bad overall.
Faculty: Teachers are good and supportive. You get 12 days of curriculum first, where you learn about the course and get motivated to work better in BAMS. You might get over the trauma of not getting an MBBS. Semesters are bearable. One needs to get 50% or above to pass.
Other: This is the only option available. Surgeries should be available. Very few events are conducted. You can take admission here if you're willing to get into a decent medical college.

The college doesn't provide good placements.
Placements: We didn't say clearly because no batch has qualified yet. Studying in an Ayurvedic medical college is often a dream for many students who wish to pursue a career in traditional healing.
Infrastructure: However, the reality in some institutions is quite different from the expectations. In my college, the lack of basic facilities has created a big challenge for both learning and personal growth. Firstly, there is no sports ground available for students. Sports and physical activities are not just for enjoyment but are essential for maintaining physical and mental health. Ayurveda itself emphasizes the balance of body and mind.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but they do not provide excellent knowledge. Sometimes, I feel this college is just for attendance, and there are no practical classes. They do not provide excellent knowledge. Sometimes, I feel this college is just for attendance, with no practical classes.
Other: On behalf of other colleges, those are too good in the area.

I am very satisfied with the teaching. I can’t say much about the campus life.
Placements: The course offered here is the Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery. As it's a medical college, no direct placements are available. You are provided an internship in the college hospital itself. Only after that do you get your degree. The study is really nice here.
Infrastructure: All the labs are well-equipped. The hospital is well-equipped with emergency, ICU, and other facilities. The food quality in our hostel is quite nice. There is no Wi-Fi, though. Sports equipment is provided. The library is well-equipped. Medical facilities are on campus itself.
Faculty: Teaching is top-notch. They teach well and a lot. Exams happen every 6 months, and professional exams occur every 1.5 years. Exams aren't really difficult if you've studied enough. Ayurveda is tough, but with the correct approach, you can crack it. There's Sanskrit as a subject.
Other: Scholarship programs are available. Time-to-time seminars and other activities take place. The campus is on the highway, so the surroundings are still developing.

Our college offers a supportive environment with passionate faculty .
Placements: As my college is new, placements have not yet been done, and in medical college, there is no direct placement offered by any company. In this course, we get a doctor's degree in Ayurvedic medicine. The percentage of students who get internships is approximately 100%; it all depends on the student's results.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very limited, with a lack of sports grounds or parks. Classes are good; labs are also fully equipped. There is no Wi-Fi for the students, but the classrooms are a good size. The food quality is good and is cooked in a local mess, which is run by the college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and friendly. In medical college, self-study is the first priority. The course is a little tough because you have to manage the Ayurvedic (Hindi) part and the modern medical part simultaneously. The teaching quality is good. The main problem arises in the Sanskrit or Hindi part of the course, which CBSE or ICSE board students struggle with.
