Review of Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai.

Placements: A few students got placed in my course, and 4 LPA is the package offered. No companies recruit mechanical engineers. None offered the best role in this course. The college is below average. 67% of students got internships from my course in different companies.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms and library are way better than any other college. The food is disgusting. Sports like football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, etc., are offered. The college organized an e-sports event to play PubG, free fire and many more PG games. I just loved it.

Faculty: The teachers are not helpful, and they can't clear our doubts.

I was not completely satisfied with the campus placements of the college and the companies.

Placements: Around 25% of students got placed from mechanical engineering. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies here were Tech Mahindra, Jaro, Wipro and TCS. The majority of students got internships in CAD designing and mechanical workshops. The top roles offered were leadership, teamwork, etc.

Infrastructure: There are both online and offline classes in our college with smart classrooms. The campus has free Wi-Fi and has labs for every branch. Classrooms are also good with a good atmosphere. Library facilities are also available. The hostel facility is also very good, and good quality of food is served in the mess. Sports and games facilities are also good.

Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified with a bachelor's degree and master's. Some of them are also PhD holders, and they are helpful. They are well experienced, and they are friendly in nature. They make us ready for the industry. The difficulty of exams was moderate, and the passing percentage was 80%.

Other: I was interested in mechanical engineering, so I chose this course. The best thing about my course is the innovation of machines and cars. I suggest our college to increase the physical labs in our course. Various events are held in our college, and scholarships are also available. Extracurricular activities are conducted.

Candidate who has passed Diploma in Engineering/Architecture from a recognized board/university with 45% marks for UR category (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC and PWD category of Chattisgarh) can also apply for the course. Candidate passing 10th/12th through distance learning/open school shall be eligible for admission. Candidate passed diploma program through distance learning shall not be eligible to apply. If the candidate has passed 10+2 examination, but failed in one or more compulsory subject than the candidate shall not be considered eligible for admission. If the candidate is declared passed with grace as per the rule of related board than the candidate shall be eligible to apply. Candidate Upper age limit is 30 years for UR category , 35 years for PWD who belongs to UR category of Chattisgarh, 33 years for SC/ST/OBC and Female category of Chattisgarh, and 38 years for PWD who belongs to SC/ST/OBC and female category of Chattisgarh as on 1st of July of academic year.
