Placements: Top roles offered in my courses include freshers getting a decent package of 10 LPA-12 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA-5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Jindal Steel, SAW, Jindal Panther, Mahindra, etc. Internships are offered in the 2nd to 3rd year and are primarily designed for core branches.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in both the hostel and the college. Classrooms are well-designed. The library is sufficient for your curriculum and other materials. All other competitive exam books are also shelved here. Food is fine with decent medical facilities. Sports equipment and needs are completely taken care of. Hostel facilities given here are quite comfortable with assistance from our wardens who are always ready to help us in every possible way.
Faculty: Teachers are great in their fields and are really helpful and knowledgeable. They certainly help us after study hours. The curriculum is designed by the college itself and is relevant to our industries as it needs industry-ready students. Semester exams are pretty difficult and create a study season for everyone. Mostly 60-80 percent of students pass here.
Other: I chose this course as it was designed perfectly. Placements are really attractive with a decent package. I wish to master my course topics such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. Events are conducted regularly like cricket events, techno events, etc. Connectivity is easy as the bus routes are connected, and bus facilities are available. The surroundings include a great plantation, but also have pretty bad air quality. Scholarships are given yearly based on a test.

I am satisfied with the education facilities. Amazing infrastructure, well maintained and green.
Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 10 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. The top companies are JSP, JSW, TCS, etc. Almost 90 percent of the students get internships in our branch in the jindal group, drdo, HAL, HSL, etc. Projects are assigned so that students can implement their knowledge into work.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is excellent. It has workshops which include operating machines worth crores. It includes mechanical labs such as Heat mass transfer lab, robotics, welding technology, etc. Our campus is surrounded by high-speed wifi 24×7. Books of all kinds are available in our library plus it has a virtual library too. The hostel has its mess with an occupancy of 500 students at a time. Indoor games such as table tennis, and snooker are in the building itself which creates a good environment. Field games are also conducted from time to time.
Faculty: To my knowledge, all the faculties are Ph.D. holders from IITs and NITs. They impart very good knowledge to every one of us. It makes the students perfectly ready for the industry. The examination is of a certain standard, and the passing percentage is 35%, and it depends on the subject.
Other: I have chosen mechanically as it provides a lot of opportunities for industries and projects. The average package is a bit low, I think this must be increased. Events are conducted from time to time which creates opportunities for all the students to mix up and know each other. Technorollix and Junoon are the main and annual fest of our university. The campus crowd is okay. College gives scholarships of around 1.5 crores every year.

An amazing college for topper students as they get very high scholarships and good placements.
Placements: About 98% of students got placements in the mechanical engineering course the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA while the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are JSPL, JSW, JSL, and Byjus. Everyone gets an internship as they have their own powerplant. It's very easy to get internships. The top role offered is assistant manager.
Infrastructure: The university has a very good and well-maintained infrastructure. There is 24/7 electricity, water, Wi-Fi, etc. As it is looked after by Jindal, all the facilities available are very nice compared to any other university in Chattisgarh. The location of the university is very poor because a lot of pollution is there nearby.
Faculty: Faculty members at our university are not helpful and not well qualified. They teach using youtube and the curriculum is okay for industry. The semester exams are very tough because the faculty doesn't help much. They are in their own world. The pass percentage is 40% and if you fail you get 2 more attempts.
Other: I chose this course after looking at placements. The best thing is the highest placement. The curriculum can be improved. There are several events like Technorollix, etc.

It is a good college for industrial exposure.
Placements: OP Jindal University is a corporate college by Jindal group. Almost 60% of students get placed in mechanical engineering. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies JSPL, Siscol, and Tata. Almost 50% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The campus is well maintained. An air-conditioned classroom is offered for all the courses. There is a very huge mechanical workshop. A big auditorium, 24*7 Wi-Fi, and a good mechanical lab are available in our college. You don't need to buy books as all are available in the library. The college offers a digital as well as a physical library. There are 2 hostels. The hostel is in very good condition. There is an option for air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms and single, double, and triple occupancy. There is a very good 6-bed hospital available on campus. The food is also satisfactory. All sports and games are promoted on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very helpful. This course curriculum relevant. It makes students industry-ready. You get internships very easily in industries. Semester exams are of moderate level not so tough. Pass percentage is 99%.
Other: I chose this college because of the less fee structure and has good placement records. This college offers scholarships on basis of your merit. The college organises central India's biggest fest called Technorolix. In Junoon, a lot of events are organised and many artists perform in the college. The biggest event is Junoon. Darshan Rawal, Jubin Nautiyal, and Shirley Setia have already performed.

Placements: Around 90% of students are placed in this course. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 8 LPA - 9 LPA. Byjus, JSW, JSPL, Siscol, JPL, Unacademy, Tisco, NTPC, MSP, and Bhushan Steels are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is enabled. It provides computer laboratories, a mechanical workshop, air-conditioned classrooms, and an air-conditioned library. Air-conditioned rooms with almirah are also available. It provides study tables, beds, and an air-conditioned cafeteria. Review of OP Jindal University.
Placements: Core companies visiting the college are up to the mark compared to other colleges in the state. Main recruiters are Jindal Steel Raigarh and Jindal Steel Angul. The average salary offered by them is 4 LPA.
JSW Steel offered a salary package of 5 LPA. Companies like Jindal Power Tamnar and Volvo Motors visited the college for placements. Bhusan Steel, Jharsuguda offered a salary package of 3 LPA. Students get internships steel and power plants, i.e., Jindal Steel, Jindal Power, JSW Steels, Volvo Motors etc. There is a placement cell, but there is a need for more participation of students in the placement cell. In various top national institutes, the entire T&P is controlled by the students which lag in OPJU. It needs to be improved by the management and students actively.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college still needs some improvement as far as the standards of the national university are considered. You will not find any dedicated departmental building on the campus. Every department building is messed up and needs some serious attention from the management. The Wi-Fi facility is good, and I remember we got a fully functional Wi-Fi connection in 2014. Labs for automobile and workshops are pretty decent. Medical facilities are okay. For any serious cause, you have to see the doors of Fortis Hospital Raigarh as it is about 30 km from the institute, but it's expensive and the institute is not going to bear those expenses. When it comes to sports, I will say it is the best in the state. It is not because of the management, it is because of the students. However, a bit of seriousness from the management could raise the standards of the institute a bit higher.
Faculty: The college is recruiting faculty members from various top ranking national institutes, but currently, the college has a bit low student to faculty ratio. The number of faculty members in each department is limited to mere 6-7 which is very low in number as it is a national university. Faculty members in the college are knowledgeable. All are at least post-graduates from esteemed top ranking IITs and NITs. Every department has at least 2 PhD faculty members. From the last few years, a good interactive seminar and workshop courses are being offered in the institute which provides students with a platform to learn new courses in the market/industries. When it comes to industrial exposure, our university can give a neck to neck competition to any of the top institutes of India. The entire management is promoting OPJU as the 1st steel university of India because of its strong industrial tie-ups with industries like Jindal Steel and Jindal Power. They are the main sponsors for any of the fests. It also provides great exposure to students through industrial visits in each semester. Even the students can take any live project of the industry as a case study under the guidance of their professor.
Other: The main aspect checked for joining the university is its fee structure. Raigarh is still a very developing city in Chhattisgarh and located in the outskirts of the state where various superfast trains don't even have their stoppages. Even there is no direct air-connectivity. The institute is around 30-35 km away from the city with very poor bus facilities or any other means like an auto or cab. The campus is spread over mere 30-35 acres, but the institute is still in a nurturing phase. Considering all these points, the fee structure is a bit high compared to the rest of the institutes in the state with equal facilities and infrastructure. Even the fest conducted until 2017 was very limited. An annual tech fest is conducted in February just for namesake, and that too for merely three days. No other artists of the country participate except the students of the same institute and nearby. However, in 2018, the management took the initiative and organised the 1st ever cultural fest of the institute JUnoon'18 in October in which singer Shirley Setia gave a live performance followed by DJ NYK on the next day. Hope this cultural fest continues for the university to end up the legacy of boring days in OPJU for students. An annual tech fest is conducted in February every year. However, the institute should also conduct a sports fest to be more competitive with other universities at the national level.

Opju is the finest and neatest collages of our country. Proud to be feel we are from jindal family.
Placements: The biggest thing of opju is that the students will be considered as the jindal family members. Naming few of there placement companies like jspl, jpl, nalwa power plant, ssd, jsw etc. Placement cell works efficiently in order to bring famous companies for recruitment. The average package is about 3.5 to 4 Lacs per annum but it may fluctuate as per the knowledge of the students.
Infrastructure: It is fully furnished campus with the digital library, computer labs. There will also live classrooms where all other universities professors should also be attend. It has a very good atmosphere. The classrooms are fully furnished. There will be hostle in the campus both girls and boys hostles is separate. The jindal security is also very sensitive.
Faculty: The faculty are very honest and helpful. They always try to bring out the best from the students they are more of a friend than a teachers. The curriculum is based on the needs of the companies that is what actually does a company require and according to that our curriculum is been set.
Other: There will be techno fest in every year. In these many inter sports activities will be held like football, volleyball, khokho etc. Scholarships should be provided to those students who is in the merit list.

OPJU Engineering Mechanical Branch Review.
Placements: I got placed in JSW steel limited, Bellary, Karnataka. Overall the placements are average. For seniors placements were better with an average of 50%. For 2013 batch the placements were 40-50%. The placements of core branches like metallurgy, mechanical, EEE & civil are better than CSE.
Infrastructure: The college has an awesome infrastructure with well-equipped labs, air-conditioned classrooms, experienced faculty members and better opportunities for sports and growth in core sectors. As the college is owns by JSPL a lot of industrial exposure can be seen. Therefore, many industrial visits happen in our college.
Faculty: The course is well-designed as of the industry requirements, and the labs are well-designed for the industrial exposure. Most of the lab technicians have real time exposure in the Industry & Head of departments are mostly from IITs and well-renowned institutes.
Other: National level fest named as Technorollix is organised every year.
