I am not satisfied because of its placements.

Placements: In our branch, only 2 out of 10 students got placed with very low packages. The highest salary package was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Top recruitment was done by HIT industries, and it was a very good company. The top role offered was graduate engineer trainee.

Infrastructure: In this college, mess facilities were average. Wi-Fi was not enabled for students. College hostel facilities were very poor. Old mattresses were provided. The college was very clean. Canteen facilities should be started in this college with a good number of items. Sports and games must be a part of the teaching and evolution of students according to their talents.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified but the quality and technique of teaching were poor of some teachers. There were some very good teachers also. Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Mechanical engineering was curriculum relevant and can be made more relevant by adding more practical than theory.

Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. The course can be more beneficial if more attention was given to the practical side along with theoretical concepts. Sports must be added to time table and talented students must be provided chances to go to higher levels in sports or other extracurricular activities.

Candidate who has passed Diploma in Engineering/Architecture from a recognized board/university with 45% marks for UR category (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC and PWD category of Chattisgarh) can also apply for the course. Candidate passing 10th/12th through distance learning/open school shall be eligible for admission. Candidate passed diploma program through distance learning shall not be eligible to apply. If the candidate has passed 10+2 examination, but failed in one or more compulsory subject than the candidate shall not be considered eligible for admission. If the candidate is declared passed with grace as per the rule of related board than the candidate shall be eligible to apply. Candidate Upper age limit is 30 years for UR category , 35 years for PWD who belongs to UR category of Chattisgarh, 33 years for SC/ST/OBC and Female category of Chattisgarh, and 38 years for PWD who belongs to SC/ST/OBC and female category of Chattisgarh as on 1st of July of academic year.
