RVS College of Engineering and Technology admissions are based on merit. The institute considers applications of candidates meeting the eligibility criteria. RVS College of Engineering and Technology offers courses at UG and PG levels. Some of the courses include B.E. / B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech and MCA. Candidates can apply online for the preferred course.
The total tuition fees for UG courses is INR 1,50,000 - 2,00,000. Aspirants may also need to pay one-time caution deposit at the time of admission.

Our college is best to study here.
Placements: Not really satisfied with my college placements, maybe in future placements will be better or improved. Right now highest package salary is 10 LPA to 20 LPA. Me and my friends are not satisfied, and the last one is the course details. Me and my friends are not satisfied with placement classes, its just for a basic only.
Infrastructure: There is not much hygiene and taste at my college hostel like other hostels. It is not worth for money also. Especially, there are only two canteens and one tea shop all are handled by one contractor. Canteen food is also not much good as we need to improve hygiene.
Faculty: Faculty members are good but have less interaction with students. They will help us with whatever we need. But only if we ask volunteers not much curriculum is provided in our college. Exams are conducted eventually. The faculty members monitor our programs.
Other: I am neither satisfied nor dissatisfied hope you will just study here for a degree. Maybe there will be an improvement in few years. I think I should have chosen the college wisely. Our college got its autonomous status few months before.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college management.
Placements: No students got placed in the batch of 2016. They made an arrangements for few BPO companies which have visited the college. Management charges some amount for placement cell which doesn't even exit in the campus. Some of my seniors got placed and in my batch as well attending job fairs which was conducted by the companies!
Infrastructure: There are lot of facilities available in the campus but no use of it due to lack of proper usage. Classrooms and labs are big and clean but the instruments are old. They rented the apartment community for ladies hostel which is outside the college. The maintenance team is really worse.
Faculty: According to the faculty, 2 or 3 teachers are well qualified total of 15. They are in lack of communication and subject knowledge. Most of the teachers are passed out seniors. They will memorize the topics and deliver in the classroom no proper explanation about the subject.
Other: The college doesn't support events and fest.

The college is good, but it should be improved.
Placements: Above 60% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,500 per month. A top company visited our campus for placements is Amazon. I don't know about the roles offered to the students. The salary package offered can vary depending on the type of job. The percentage may be not accurate, but most of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, etc., are available for the students. The hostel should be maintained in a bit high quality because in the summer season it is too hot. A number of fans available in the hostel rooms are less, and some were not working properly. Food served can be tolerable compared to others, and it is average.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified and knowledgeable. They are more helpful to us. They were working not on their time, but working for students comfortability. They are trying for the upcoming course and degree. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like it.

The college is good in placements and atmosphere of our college is good to learn and grow.
Placements: Around 45% of the students from our course get placed. Because of backlogs, some students are not able to get placed. The salary package offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 45,000 per month. Aspire System's, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Especially software developer and trainee position are offered to students. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. We get 40% of internships from the companies.
Infrastructure: Lab facilities are the best in our college for our course. There are 3 IBM powered labs. There are comfortable and spacious classrooms. Wi-Fi is available 24x7. The library is always open. The hostel food is in good quality and both veg, and non-veg is provided. There are canteens available near our block.
Faculty: Most of our faculty members possess more than seven years of teaching experience. Most of them are PhD holders, and their quality of teaching helps us to get the concept. The course curriculum is relevant, and the training provided at the college makes the student industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest in programming. The best thing about this course is we can develop our logical thinking and get our knowledge update. My course is better every day, and the latest technologies should be updated in the course from time to time. Our college conducts multiple events like symposium, workshops, inauguration, tech fest, cultural events, NSS. Scholarships are also provided here.

The college is not very good comparing to other colleges.
Placements: A lot of companies come here, but the salary they give is too low, the HOD of the mechanical department does his best to help the students to score marks and have good placements, at least half of the students gets placed and some even get placed even without good marks because of their hardwork.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available for students, sometimes we get but with minimum range and speed, the lab facility is okay, but not great, classrooms and college structure is bad actually, and the library is too small and not a good one, and there is actually no appreciation for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers do their best and try to help every single student, they are all very well qualified persons and has a very good knowledge and the student-faculty ratio will be like 1 teacher for 30 students, they use new technologies to teach us and we haven't got any industry exposure.
Other: The campus events are pathetic, campus crowd is okay and campus surroundings are really good.

Good industrial exposure but infrastructure needs to be improved.
Placements: Placement cell in my college was very active. However, as far as mechanical dept. is concerned, off campus was given more importance than the on campus drives. (scenario seen in mechanical dept. of most colleges). We were updated with recruitment activities of prominent establishments such as SPIC, TAFE, etc. Don't know about other department activities. Overall, IT related job offers dominated the campus drives.
Infrastructure: Mechanical related lab activities were very good. Lathe lab and fluid mechanics lab were highly sophisticated ones. But still could find lacuna in lab activities to fulfill curriculum demands. Library maintenance is good. But students were encouraged to have their own study materials. It reflects on library activities such as less yearly updation with recent books. Other activities such as Sports, NCC, NSS were given least importance. Almost in 'dormant' stage. Food provided and hostel facilities were not worth to the money spent.
Faculty: Overall, engineering curriculum is in dire need of overhaul. The syllabus became very obsolete that it could not meet industry standards. It resonates highly on engineering studies that it merely becomes 'teaching and learning process'.
It was the case with our college also. However, management tried to tackle it with streamline classes such as Solidworks, Creo, etc. We were allowed to have site projects, hackathons and industrial visits.
Other: Annual cultural fests were held. Each dept. conducts a technical symposium every year. Other events such as Tamil fest and Onam celebrations took place. Campus is well maintained and an easily accessible place on Coimbatore-Tiruchi highway.
