Go for it. Better college.

Faculty: Faculty in our course is very supportive, highly qualified, and knowledgeable, always ready to help students in both academics and projects. Curriculum is well-structured, updated, and relevant to industry needs, which helps in building practical as well as theoretical knowledge. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, focusing on both concepts and applications, and the overall pass percentage is quite high as students are well-prepared through regular classes and labs.

The teaching staff and faculty members are good here.

Faculty: SGBIT faculty members are a mix of experienced and young professors, particularly strong in the Computer Science and Electronics departments. Teaching is supportive but sometimes theoretical, following the VTU curriculum. The syllabus covers basics but needs updating for emerging teaching trends like AI and cloud computing. Exams follow the VTU pattern, with two internal assessments and a final semester exam. Internal marks come from tests, labs, and assignments. The difficulty level of exams is...

If you are rich go for a better college, not this one.

Faculty: Faculty members primarily focus on assignments, leaving limited time for effective teaching. The teaching quality is average and doesn't adequately prepare students for industry demands. Course curriculum lacks relevance as it emphasizes theoretical knowledge over practical skills, making students less industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted by VTU, and are manageable, with an average passing percentage of 70%.

Great curriculum and practical learning, with good infrastructure and room for improvement.

Faculty: Teachers in the AI and data science department are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on practical application. Semester exams are moderately difficult, requiring consistent study and understanding of concepts. The pass percentage is around 85%. There were low placement offer in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are well, and they don't have vast knowledge about courses we get. They are well-qualified. The teaching quality is well compared to other colleges in Belagavi. Our course is very good, and if students complete our course, they have more chances to get a job in the industry. Students are not ready to go into the industry while studying here.

It is a very good college with no regrets after taking admission. The infrastructure is very good.

Faculty: The teaching quality was very good, and there were many teaching staff for every subject. Teachers were very helpful, and they helped students in clearing their doubts. The semester exams were not very tough because the teachers cleared every doubt of students, and the passing percentage was more than 82%.

Lasting fun during college, which will always be remembered.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are good if the students attend the classes regularly. The quality of teaching is also good. Many other activities are also done, and fests are held regularly, etc. The semester exams are conducted by VTU itself, so they are a little different compared to internals.

S G Balekundri Institute of Technology Belgaum, Review

Faculty: The faculty is well-trained, and most of them are supportive. However, very few (2-3) are irritating, blame students, and give more work. The curriculum is moderately difficult and is related to engineering. Semester exams are easy-going and passable for the students.

Overall, the college is good. Placements should be improved.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They never hesitate when we ask for doubts, they solve our doubts very clearly. The overall teaching quality is good. The Computer Science course is very relevant, we need to learn coding and there is no such thing as by-hearting and all. College organizes placement training, where students are introduced to the industrialists. Semester exams are conducted strictly. The pass percentage of students is around 78%.

This year, the placement department has disappointed the students too much.

Faculty: The faculty is well-educated enough to teach the subjects. They have enough knowledge of the particular subjects they are teaching and provide good quality education. The course curriculum is not up to date, which does not make students industry-ready. Exams are different, and the passing percentage is 85%.

Everything is good about the college; the only thing is students should study.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are qualified and teach us nicely. They even share helpful information, and the quality of teaching is outstanding. It even makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exams are a little bit tough, and the pass percentage is more than 75%.

My third journey about study: My SGBIT.

Faculty: In our college, all teachers are well-versed in teaching. More than 400 teachers are there, and more than five are from IIT. Over 50 teachers have completed their PhDs. With the help of our teachers, we score more than 9 CGPA, which means we score more than 90% in our college.

I can review the college 4/5 because all facilities are good but placements are low.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them are well qualified and well educated; some of them have done Masters in a particular course and will teach well. The course on artificial intelligence and data science is future, and it is going to make an impact in big ways. If I say about examinations in this college, they are very strict; all classrooms are under CCTV. Minimum passing percentage is 79%.

The best college for a poor guy who wants to be an engineer.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, making them somewhat industrial-ready; semester exams are super hard for an average guy; the pass percentage is about 90%; and teachers are super supportive; they teach many things out of the syllabus and make the student imagine and create more stuff.
