Our college provides good teaching and learning experience.

Placements: The placement percentage is average. Students get placements in different categories but most of the students of our course are pursuing higher education or training for teacher recruitment. The main target is the government jobs. Many students get internships, but most of them are in small institutions. Some of the students get the chance in big and reputed organisations. The highest salary package offered is 7.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered is almost 2.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructures are also average. Basic needs like classrooms, library, and labs are present in this college but most of them are not very useful. The library is opened regularly but it doesn't have all the needful books. A lab is also here but useless cause it remains closed almost every time only opens in the main exam time or at the time if any higher official. The classrooms are good. There is no Wi-Fi on the campus. Hostel, mess, and canteen facilities are available but the services are poor as well as the medical facilities. But the sports and games section are great, they are very good.

Faculty: It we come to the education section, these are good. Teachers are undoubtedly well qualified and experienced. Most of them are very helpful and joyful. The teaching methods are also good. Keeping in mind that this is not a city, the teaching is quite good. Course curriculum is average but makes students current time industry ready but the students has to be hardworking. Class and semester exams are average not very hard. So the pass percentage is also good.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest, and it has great opportunities to get a government job in the teaching profession which is very desirable these days. The library should be improved to get more depth in every course. Rest the other activities, events, and fests are normal.

I am satisfied with professor and surroundings.

Placements: It's not the right college for getting recruited by companies.

Infrastructure: I got a library card, but I got only a few books that were old editions. Our professors helped me by providing new editions.

Faculty: The teaching methods of all professors are great. They motivated me to love literature. Their guidance and support made me comfortable with my studies. All students easily manage to pass.

Other: It's my dream to do a Ph.D. in literature, and I am on my way. I wish library faculty became more than just good so everyone could study happier.

It shall be necessary for a student to have obtained not less than 45 percent marks at Intermediate examinations in the subject offered for Honours study or in an allied subject as determined by the Academic Council in case the subject was not prescribed for study at intermediate level.

Provided that if a student chooses one of the languages and literature subjects as the Honours subject, he/she may be allowed to choose not more than one other language and literature subject as a subsidiary subject.

a student shall be eligible for admission to the B.A. (Honours) course in any subject even though he has not studied the subject concerned at the Intermediate stage if he/she has passed the Intermediate examination in Science or Commerce with not less than 45 percent marks aggregate.

A student, who has passed Intermediate Examination compartmentally but has scored 45% marks in the subject concerned at the Intermediate stage, shall be eligible for admission to Honours and General courses.
