College has great infrastructure and faculty support, but placement opportunities are limited.
Placements: 0-80 percent of students get placed in SRKR Engineering College. The top MNCs like Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, and Accenture often visit the college to hire students. Most of the students are hired through mass hiring with these companies. Ninja offered a salary package of 3.5 LPA. The Digital offered offered a salary package of 7 LPA, Prime offered a salary package of 9 LPA; Cognizant Genc offered a salary package of 4 LPA, Genc Next offered a salary package of 5.3 LPA, Genc Pro offered a salary package of 6.2 LPA; Infosys offered a salary package of System Engineer - 3.6 LPA, Digital Special Engineer offered a salary package of 6.25 LPA, Special Programmer offered a salary package of 9.25 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the college. A separate block is allocated for the central library and digital library. Students can access those resources with a library card. Labs are equipped with modern equipment and qualified technicians. Classrooms are equipped with digital TVs and projector facilities.
Faculty: When it comes to teachers, we can somewhat expect slightly lower performance than the people from IITs and NITs. Some teachers have graduated from IITs. The curriculum is relevant to industry readiness, and semester exams are not that difficult to pass. The pass percentage may be around 80-85 percent.
Other: I am going to pass out in 2026. I've mastered backend development with the guidance of my mentor. You have to keep very low expectations when it comes to events and fests. SRKR is not much interested in such events, but such events are organized simply.

Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Engineering College is the best college in Bhimavaram.
Placements: In 2024-2025, approximately 1600 students are placed in my college, Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Engineering College. The highest package in the ECE branch is 29.5 LPA. The lowest package is around 2 to 2.2 LPA. The average package is 3 to 6 LPA. The top companies are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant. 70-80% of students get internships at Bosch and Hyundai Mobis. The top roles are VLSI engineer and embedded engineer.
Infrastructure: Our ECE department has a very good ambiance. It is situated in a three-storied building with the required number of classrooms, well-equipped libraries, and e-classrooms. The quality of the hostel is good. The quality of food is very good. There is a huge area for the canteen and mess. Dispensary rooms are available for medical issues. We have a nice indoor auditorium.
Faculty: We have experienced, helpful, and interactive faculty. Their teaching is awesome. The course curriculum is well-structured and organized. It is making students ready for industry jobs. The semester examinations are fair. The pass percentage is approximately 85 to 90%.
Other: We work with hardware and software. They use practical knowledge of integrated circuits and read boards. We can improve the software-related courses in the ECE branch. The fests and events are good.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 70% of people are placed on our campus. The highest package in 2024 is near 48 LPA, and the average package is near 5 to 6 LPA in CSE. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, and Google. Many students got internships in the CSE course. Top roles are web developer and others.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are available for our course, which is CSE. Wi-Fi is available 24 hours on the campus. The food served in the hostel is good, tasty, and healthy, in a week, non-veg is served 2 times, egg once, and the remaining days are veg with different tiffins.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good and in an understandable manner. In SRKR Engineering College, students are ready to become industry-ready. Semester exams are somewhat tough, but by preparing one week before, you can score good marks.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering. In this course, we are ready to catch software engineering jobs easily in any company. In my course, I would be better at coding.

The things you need to know about SRKR.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students from our batch are placed, the highest package is around 10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average is around 5 LPA, some of the top recruiters include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Capgemini. Roles offered are software engineer and analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and decent with good classrooms, well-equipped labs, libraries, and the hostel has clean rooms and regular maintenance, the food in the mess is average but hygienic. Indoor games are also available for maintaining physical fitness.
Faculty: The faculty that we have are the most experienced and senior faculty. They share not only about the subject but also give us insights about life. The syllabus is pretty good. The exams are moderate, not too tough and not too easy. Overall, it is good.
Other: I am so passionate about IoT. I really like the idea of mixing both hardware and software. The best thing is that we get to know everything both theoretically and practically. The events held in our college are very good. We get to know about famous personalities and enjoy the event as well.

Solid fundamentals and a supportive faculty campus.
Placements: In my ECE department, almost 80%-90% students are placed in companies. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Wipro, and TCS. The percentage of students who got an internship is 70% very large-scale integrated circuit.
Infrastructure: In my department's facilities library, it is most useful to us. Wi-Fi for some software purposes. Classrooms are clean. In the hostel, the food is above average for that, and the rooms are good. In sports, it's very well for being a hostel. For medical purposes, it is good in both college and a hostel.
Faculty: Most students report that teachers are absolutely supportive and even help with personal challenges. Considering that faculty members are excellent. Semesters are described as moderately challenging, students can score well by studying in the classroom.
Other: I chose B.Tech in ECE because I was passionate about circuit and communication systems and techniques. ECE felt like a blend of software and hardware, it is flexible to move into the core, electronics, and AI fields. Admission mode, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.

Good placements and nice campus.
Placements: I am from the Computer Science and Engineering CSM Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning specialization branch at SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram. Placements in our batch are encouraging. Nearly 80 to 85% of students securing jobs through campus recruitment. A few students chose to pursue higher studies or prepare for competitive exams, but the majority opted for placements. The salary packages offered are varied. The highest package reached about 40 LPA from a top product-based company.
Infrastructure: The CSM department at SRKR has good infrastructure. It has modern computer labs, Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms. The library is well-equipped with technical books and digital resources. Project labs support practical learning in AI/ML. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, Wi-Fi, and basic amenities. Mess food is average but manageable. While the canteen offers more variety. Medical support is available through a health center and tie-ups with a hospital. Sports facilities like cricket, volleyball, basketball, and indoor games are well-maintained. They are giving students good options for recreation.
Faculty: Faculty in the CSM department are well qualified and supportive. Most of them guide students with both academics and projects. Teaching quality is generally good, though it depends on the subject. The curriculum is updated with AI, ML, and data-related subjects, which makes it relevant to industry needs and helps students prepare for placements. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty and focus more on understanding concepts than rote learning. With regular preparation, students can clear them without much stress. Overall, the pass percentage in our course is quite high.
Other: I am from the CSM AI & ML branch at SRKR. I chose this course because of my interest in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science, which have great career opportunities.

Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
MCACandidate must have passed Bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with Mathematics as one of the subject at Intermediate or Degree level with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission.
B.E. / B.TechCandidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to, from a recognised Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023). There is no upper age limit.
M.E./M.TechCandidate must have passsed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant stream and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis.
