Great college and packages.
Placements: The percentage of civil engineering placed students is above 60%. The top recruiting company is Infosys. The highest package is 8 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. 80% of students got internships in various companies, and they also help students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, not too good, but I hope they will improve this, and the hostel is in renovation phase, but the hostel food was good. Hostel life is good, and the security provided is also top-notch. There is a big campus and a good canteen, and many more.
Faculty: I think the faculty of this college is absolutely great, and the teachers are of great quality and well-experienced. The course is complete on time, and the passing percentage is also good. Absolutely great college, and the fees are also budget-friendly, and it's a great experience.
Other: I think I chose civil engineering because of my passion, and this college literally helps me and gives me hope. I think the only thing that should be improved is the practical materials. Events and fests did not occur. The crowd and connectivity are great, the friendly nature, good scholarships provided, and there are various clubs for extracurricular activities.

“Strong Academics, Practical Study: My experience at SATI."
Placements: I am from the B.Tech Civil Engineering batch of 2025 at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (SATI) Vidisha. Our batch had a total of around 60 students in Civil Engineering. The highest package offered was around 8 LPA while the lowest package stood at approximately 3 LPA. The average package for our course was in the range of 4.5-5 LPA reflecting steady placement opportunities in core and allied industries.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available including WiFi labs classrooms and the library. The Civil Engineering lab is one of the best labs all over India. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is quite good and hygiene is maintained. All sports facilities are available including indoor and outdoor. We have a football ground cricket ground basketball ground badminton court and a table tennis court.
Faculty: The curriculum is well settled, and the faculty are experienced and helpful. The Civil Engineering department at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (SATI), Vidisha, has highly qualified, supportive, and experienced faculty. Most professors hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees from reputed institutes and have both academic and industry exposure, which makes their teaching effective. They are approachable and always ready to help students with doubts, projects, and career guidance.
Other: The Medhavi scholarship is the most important thing in our college, and there are many more scholarship offers.

Good college and room for improvement.
Placements: It is a very good college. 50% of students get placed from the pass out batch. The highest package is 9 LPA. The average package ranges from 4 LPA - 6 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Internships are not available at my college. Every student gets internships off campus, and any company comes into the college for internships. Sales companies mostly come into college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our hostel is as good as I expected in a government college. Our hostel name is Kalpana Chawla Girls Hostel. The mess is average, and it should provide better food to us as the fee is more. Sometimes Wi-Fi issues occur so it can be problematic for some students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. All teachers are qualified with high degrees. Their manner of behavior with students is good because we understand their words. Classes are not conducted properly. Syllabus remains complete. It's not the faculty member's fault that students bunk the classes.
Other: The hostel life is best, and you get something new to learn. Civil engineering is good here.

Absolutely satisfied with facility, placement are low at this time but infrastructure is good.
Placements: Placement rates in Civil Engineering with SATI are quite low at this time, with only about 40-50 percent of students getting placed. The highest salary offered is about 7-8 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA and the average package is about 3-4 LPA. Wipro, Infosys and Yash Technologies are the top recruiters. Internship opportunities depend on the CGPA of the students, with about 70-80 percent of students getting internships in various companies or startups.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our department is old, but the library, labs, and training and placement cell are available to students. The Civil Lab is top-notch, and the hostels are too good. There are two hostels for boys (RNT & IG) and two for girls (KC & GJR). The mess is good and the environment in the hostels and on campus is great. There is also a sports complex, canteen and medical support.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and the labs and practical training ensure that students are well-prepared for the industry. The semester exams are not too difficult. Studying the assignments given by the faculty and review the past question papers, and we will be fine. In fact, 80 percent of the students pass the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because it opens up opportunities for government competition. The practical labs are good, but the timing per week could be improved. There are many events and festivals conducted on campus, which is good. The campus is well-connected to the railway station, just 500 meters away. Scholarships are available, and many clubs are active for extra activities.

Good campus facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: The students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. There are many companies that visited the college, like Amazon, Coca-Cola, Zomato, Blinkit and many more. The highest package is, I think, between 6 Lacs and 10 Lacs and the profiles offered I don't know are pricey. Most of the students aim for further studies and Masters and some for jobs; its up to the students which they choose. My plans after getting this degree are to see whether I get a suitable and respectable job or if I will aim for my higher studies from the top colleges.
Infrastructure: There is a variety of books in the library. You can find exactly what information you are looking for in the library. There are also story books and fiction novels available for the students. And the study material is also available if any student needs it. There are some fests that are being held in the college, like a 3-day college fest for the students and people from outside universities can also come visit and give their feedback. The college focuses on sports activities like swimming basketball and football. I'm a swimmer and have won many competitions under this college and have made a name in the college through my swimming skills.
Faculty: We can interact with the teachers whenever we want; we can text them our doubts and problems; they are very understanding. Some of the professors also have work experience and they use that to give us examples while teaching. They interact with the students while teaching and if we have doubts, they clear them but the only problem is that some of the professors do NIT behave like college faculty, but their behaviour is more like that of a school teacher. The student-faculty ratio is proper; every student gets the undivided attention of the professor.
