For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science and Business Systems was 114463 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. The university has not released the list of companies visited during the placement drive for the year 2023. However, as per external sources, some of the companies visited during the recent placement drive are IBM, TCS Mumbai, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, TCL, JIO, and many more.

RGPV admission to most of the courses is primarily entrance-based. However, the university does offer a few courses, admission to which is completely merit-based. Hence, candidates can certainly get admission to RGPV courses without an entrance exam, given that they are seeking admissions to programmes with the merit-based selection.
