Excellent infrastructure, 100% placements, and state-of-the-art facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are highly experienced mariners, most of them are ex-Indian navy guys. They are highly knowledgeable with excellent quality teaching. The course curriculum is designed by DG Shipping, thus making it relevant. It does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficult, exams conducted by IMU. For ETO, no semester exams are there.

Review of Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies.

Faculty: The best infrastructure was provided for our course. It was a clean and eco-friendly campus located in the heart of Lonavla, which is a beautiful hill station. The campus was powered by solar panels. The quality of the food served was good. Hygiene was maintained all the time. We had a fixed menu for the week. Daily, they served tea, breakfast, lime juice, lunch, coffee snacks, and dinner.

It has good infrastructure, good faculty members, and hostel services.

Faculty: The studies are a little difficult, but teachers are very good. They are very knowledgeable, and the seamanship instructors are very good at what they do. They prepare you for the semester exams in a very good way by taking mock and pre-final examinations. If students are not performing well, they are given special attention.

I am satisfied with the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are the best in this field with years of experience and are very kind personalities. All of them treat all the cadets equally without any discrimination. They solve all the cadets' problems personally, and hence no cadet feels left out.

It is the best maritime training institute in India.

Faculty: I have met some of the best teachers in my life at our college. Faculty members are experienced, and most of them are from the navy background. The management is also very well managed, and the blended learning programme provides hands-on training to each and every cadet.

Really good infrastructure and faculty that helps bring up future mariners.

Faculty: The teachers are fully qualified, these are not people who teach from textbooks, they are people who has the specific practical knowledge. Eg:- internal combustion engine is taught by a faculty who has worked with a 20 ft IC engine for almpst half of his life. No textbooks in this world can beat that kind of knowledge. So faculty here is world class.

SIMS has a really good infrastructure.

Faculty: There will be experienced captains, and chief engineers served in sea-going vessels for a long time, and the academics will be under their control. There will be other technical faculty members also for engineering and officer cadets. You will get a good exposure to the industry you are going to work for.
