Infrastructure, faculty members and facilities are good but don't expect placements.

Placements: There are poor placements in the college. For civil engineering, a majority of the companies came to the college for our senior batches. They offer very low salary, so the students who got selected in the companies didn't take the job, and the college doesn't invite companies in the consecutive years. Computer science and electrical department students are placed in IBS. The placements are there but very few. The only company visited for our civil batch is RP International which is the worst company. They offered a job without salary for six months and also after 6months there is no guarantee for salary and the job.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The college surrounded with greenery had a positive and good atmosphere. All the lab facilities are provided with essential machinery and equipment for all departments. In our batch, we had some issues about canteen food, but it was all sorted out. The college facilities and infrastructure are good. Classrooms are spacious and fine. No air condition system and fans are available. Most of the first aid things are available on the campus. There is a government hospital (Velland hospital) near to campus which is about 1.5-2km far. Annual sports days are conducted every year. Inter college sports competition are also there. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Girls hostel which is inside the campus and boys hostel is provided outside the campus.

Faculty: All the faculty members have M.Tech. The associate professors and HOD's are well-experienced, very helpful, informative, supportive and give good guidance on academic seminars and project works. There are enough faculty members but they don't allow the students to select the elective subjects. It was decided by the faculty members where there is lack of faculty members for all the electives who know the subject. This was a problem where every college faces. In the recent years, the student-faculty ratio is very low. The classes are not even half filled.

Other: The college management doesn't allow to conduct a fest, but last year they allowed to conduct a fest. All the expenditures are taken from students. Some blood donation campaigns are conducted every year. In every class, the person who scores the highest mark in entrance exam will get a considerable amount of fees reduction. Students want to take a struggle with management for getting a class tour.

Candidate must have a pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Govt. of Kerala or any examination equivalent thereto with minimum mentioned marks in Mathematics separately and aggregate of mentioned marks in Physics and Chemistry/equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade for 50% of Merit seats , and aggregate of 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade for 50% Management seats. Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical (KEAM). Admission for candidates applying through management quota is based on the rank obtained in KEAM and performance in personal interview. Admissions for NRI Candidates are on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.
