Absolutely dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: Only a few students got placed. Placements are poor. Only 2 or 3 students get placed in a year. Computer science students generally get many opportunities, but in our college, there are no placements for them too.
Infrastructure: The hostel and food are average. The classrooms are good. There is only a limited area for us. For only computer science students, the library is useful. The labs are good, and we can do work on it. Hostels are not good. The floors and beds for students are very bad.
Faculty: Some of the teachers in our department are kind. The teaching quality is good. Only a few teachers treat us very badly. They show partiality. The pass percentage is low. The teachers are helpful. If a student got one supply or is bad at anything, they treat that student differently.
Other: There is no tour or IV for students. Only those students who pay the complete fees will go for tours. The fee is very high. Buses are very bad. When it rains, the water will fall inside the bus. Our class strength is 26. They give importance only to money, not students. Most of the teachers show partiality among students, which will hurt you. So, you can go for another college.

Sarabhai engineering college located in Trivandrum is very good college.
Placements: The placement of our college is very interesting and very helpful for the students the last time the college had a placement percentage of 70 and the students are very helped by the placement cell of the college. The placement cell informs students about the placements given by various of companies.
Infrastructure: The food and accommodation of the hostel is very good and a good atmosphere. The hostel Life is very much interesting. The college provide a very good lab and classrooms and they have a very good library and have a free Wi-Fi in the computer lab for the students.
Faculty: The faculty members of the College is very much good and very helpful for the studies and they are not only helping in the studies but also in extra curricular activities. The pass percentage of the students in the College is very good and above average. The semester exams are not that much difficult.
Other: The course is very good and helpful to gain a good company for a good job. The college provides better events and tech fests which provide better interaction between the students.

A better choice for doing B.Tech.
Placements: 40% of students are placed every year. The highest package offered to students was from TCS and packages depends on the individual TCS, INFOSYS. 60% of students get internships every year from COMPUTER Science ENGINEERING batch. Teachers are good in this college. The studies here are pretty well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite well. It is built between the rocks and the ambiance is quite near to nature The hostel is average. The room is average. No Wi-Fi facility. Food quality is pretty good and is available in a variety of veg and non-veg. There is no sports ground in the college only have a small basketball court.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified in their subjects. They are pretty well known, and they are very helpful to the students. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant, and yes it makes the students industry-ready. There is no difficulty in passing the exams and it depends on the individual.
Other: I was interested in computers from a very young and wanted to pursue CSE but from a good college. So, I opted for this college.

Really good qualified faculty members.
Placements: About 75% per cent of students were placed in reputed companies. Also many of the students did internships and got post graduation in top universities. Top companies like Cognizant and IBM offered jobs for the students with a good annual pay. Almost all students from our batch got placed and some goes for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure and laboratories with high quality machines to work with. Quality of the food is average, hostel also has a good atmosphere. Our authorities encourages in sports and games but have to work with the cultural activities.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified. Always there to help the students with their academics and extra curricular activities. They are very much friendly with students which helps the students to be more open with theirs problems in studies as well as in personnel life.
Other: Computer science and engineering provides more opportunities for freshers. Doesn't give enough fund for the cultural events.

Absolutely the best college regarding surroundings and infrastructure.
Placements: There is a placement cell available in college. Whenever there is a recruitment drive conducted anywhere, the placement cell will notify students through a specific teacher or email. A very less number of companies visit our college to offer placements. Most of the time, we have to visit other colleges to attend the placement drives. Almost 50% of the students get placed at the end through information provided by the college regarding placements.
Infrastructure: The college is built at the top of a hill, and surrounded by trees which make it look very beautiful. There are different types of facilities provided for the students of different branches, like basketball, badminton, and volleyball courts, library, medical room, and every kind of labs. The campus is big. There are separate buildings for first-year students, M.Tech students, and the students of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, and they are also well-qualified and experienced. The faculty to student ratio is good. The course curriculum is designed by the affiliated university which is APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Every semester, feedback and rating are taken from students through online for the teachers, their teaching style, and its effectiveness.

An overview of Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology, where expectations meets reality.
Placements: There are different students with different skills, and a big challenge for students is to find their dream job. So our college has a good placement cell, and each department has a faculty member for informing students about new recruitments. So far, we got placements from different software companies and different oil and construction companies like TCS, IBS, and TFI. The college and our faculty members are providing information as well as encouraging us to participate in many placement drives so that the students can get placed.
Infrastructure: A fresh atmosphere and green trees all around the campus provide an energetic and fresh start each day. We have very well-equipped labs and workshops, and also a well-designed library is available for reference. Wi-Fi networks are available on the campus, and there is a well-maintained canteen with a good diet for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The hostel facility is very good with all the support.
Faculty: We have a good curriculum along with dedicated faculty members. We currently have CSE, civil, EEE, EI, ME, EC and various M.Tech courses. The daily activities each day are unique, and the friendly curriculum helps students to relax and enjoy their life. Teaching methods are mainly industry based so they would be good for industry exposure and also for getting placed. Industrial visits and other excursions are also conducted, and many seminars are conducted on the current relevant topics.
Other: The college conducts a department fest and a college fest every year. Also, there are well-connected networks for students to know various things. The college itself gives scholarships for female students. Well-experienced VSSC retired engineers are running this institution. NSS activities are at its blessed state with good results.

Try some other college or go for a self study course.
Placements: 100% of my senior batch and my batch were't placed in any company via campus selection. There were't any interviews held for our college. There is a placement cell and is used only to notify about any walk-in interviews. They don't even bother if you get placed or not once you complete the course.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi facility. Hostels are like local lodges. There are no facility for sports. Classrooms and labs are similar to government. School standards. Computer lab is not so bad thought. College is placed in a hill top with include walks up and down several times a day for attending lab and other classes which is tiresome. But the climate and location is a plus for its natural beauty. Canteen food should never banned, once they had there drinking water mixed with leaked sewer water causing hostel wide food poisoning.
Faculty: Teaching staff were good but mostly the subjects are covered in a hurry. Due to which most of the students fail and a large amount of them never even completed the course with all paper cleared. There is no industrial exposure given to the students. They only focus on completing the coursework given by the University. Recently there have been batches with less than 10 students per department because of the large failing students count.
Other: No inter college festivals, no sports day, no college tour, no IV (you will have to fight for it) (or pay for it yourself).

Students here try to develop themselves in almost all the areas.
Placements: We have a very good placement cell. TCS and IBM are the top companies hiring from our college every year. Other than that, off-campus recruitment takes another good number of students. Almost 50% of students get placed every year. 35,000 was the highest salary offered last year. The average salary offered was 15,000.
Infrastructure: We have computer labs with internet and a library with a huge collection of books. Our athletic teams used to participate in almost all the games held around. Hostels and premises are very adaptable. Homely food is available in the canteen. Quality assurance is the core principle of our institute in every field.
Faculty: 'A great teacher inspires', this is the core foundation of teaching in SIST. Qualified teachers and expert lab technicians are always at the doorstep of students. Industry experts of all fields used to visit here and interact with the students at least once a month. The college is now affiliated with KTU, and earlier, it was a part of CUSAT. University rank holders were a routine of SIST.
Other: The tech fest is a part of our college. Scholarships are provided to eligible students based on criteria laid by the management. The campus is a nature-exposed area. Various events are organized by the students for personality development. Extra-curricular activities are promoted by assigning an hour a week with a special guide.
