SVIT accepts GUJCET for seat allocation to B.E. courses. The Cutoff was released for Round 1, for different categories under the HS quota. For the General HS category candidates, the Cutoff ranged between 7012 and 38600, with the toughest course being B.E. in Computer Engineering. The easiest course was B.E. in Civil Engineering as per the SVIT Cutoff 2024. 

For the OBC HS category candidates, the Cutoff ranged between 13610 and 35255, with the easiest course being B.E. in Computer Engineering.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.Voc	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board.
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed or appeared for Class 12 or equivalent and secured the mentioned marks (40% for the reserved category). Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subject.
B.Arch	Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply. Candidates appearing for 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023.
M.E./M.Tech	All Non-GATE candidates including sponsored (Non-GATE) shall have to appear in PGCET-2022 to become eligible for admission.
MCA	Candidate must have completed B.C.A. / B.Sc. (Computer Science) / B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE) / B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree or passed any graduation degree (e.g. B.E. / B.Tech./ B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. / B.Voc. / etc.) preferably with Mathematics, Business Mathematics or statistics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. Candidate who have no Mathematics background compulsory bridge course will be framed by the respective University/ Institution and additional bridge courses related to computer subjects as per the norms of the concerned University.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate must have passed 10th from any recognised board.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology offers UG, PG, and Diploma courses across various streams such as Architecture, Management, Engineering, Nursing, and others. The eligibility varies as per the specific programme. For UG students, qualifing Class 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Specific minimum marks in the qualifying exam are required, often 70% aggregate or 45% depending on the programme and category. 

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology has an affordable fee structure as compared to other institutes. The fee structure of the programme ranges between INR 1.5 lakh- INR 4.2 lakh. The fee structure at SVIT Vadas is bifurcated into various components, namely tuition, security deposit, and hostel fee.
