Roller coaster ride of the student life in the BVM.
Placements: In the current year, the placement is nearly 65-75%. The highest package is 9 lakhs, the lowest is 3.5 lakhs, and the average is 4.5 lakhs. The top companies are Rapidops, Motadata, Odoo, Social Pilot, etc. Nearly 80-90% of students get internships in companies like Tatva Soft, Surekha, Simform, etc. The roles offered are junior developer, AI-ML developer, or in the DevOps field.
Infrastructure: The facilities at BVM are good or decent. The campus has labs; some are old, and some are highly equipped. Wi-Fi is there in the library and in each department block, but in the block, it is for laptops only. The college also provides hostel facilities. The rooms are great, but the students have to adjust to the food quality and taste. There are two mini sports events at the college, but they are not very popular.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, but not all. Teachers are qualified, but the skills required to teach students are missing from a few of the faculty. From our time, the course structure is not good; for example, the Python subject is offered in the 7th semester, which makes no sense. The exams are moderate, so everyone can at least pass the exams, and the marking scheme is also good. Nearly 90-95% of students pass the exams.
Other: As the college has a good reputation in Gujarat because it is one of the oldest colleges in our state, it has a good image and placement records, so I chose this college. The interaction of the faculty with the students can be improved for the growth of the students. The events in BVM are decent, and extracurricular activities are very less compared to other or same-level colleges.

It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: Placements are excellent in our college. Placements are highly appreciated in the IT department. Almost 80% of students got placed on campus with a salary package of 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are PortPro, Infocusp, TCS, etc. Almost 80% of students got internships. Top roles offered by companies are software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good compared to other departments. Our college provides the best facilities like free Wi-Fi over the campus, free course books, an air-conditioned library for study, labs, etc. If you don't have a laptop or computer, you can use a lab computer. The hostel facilities are good because the hostel is new. Each hostel room has an air conditioner, a study table, a cupboard, a private bathroom, etc. The quality of the food is quite good. Free medical facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is different. All subjects are relevant to the course. The course makes us ready for the industry. One internal exam and two mid-semester exams are conducted in our college. Exams are not much difficult.
Other: I want to become a software engineer, so I chose this course. This course provides work-from-home jobs. Our college conducts a cultural fest named Udaan in April. It conducts a tech fest named Genesis in November.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: In our college, almost 70% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Portpro, Cognizant, Accenture, etc., visit our campus. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. I completed two internships during vacations. The first internship is after completing the second year, and the second internship is in the final semester.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure. Air-conditioners are available in labs. All departments have their library. Wi-Fi is available. Hostels are not good. Washrooms are dirty.
Faculty: All teachers are good at talking with students and are open-minded. Our HOD is very strict, but he is a good human being. Our teachers are qualified from IIT and NIT, and all are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are challenging.
Other: I chose this course to become a software engineer.

Placements: Companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Byju's, Porto, Site Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Cybage, etc., visit our college for placements. Computer science, IT, EL, and civil students have good competitive placements. Our college does not help students with internships but guides them.
Infrastructure: Our college provides various facilities like a mess hall, a canteen, a cricket ground, Wi-Fi, a computer lab, a huge library, etc. Our college provides the best facilities. The hostel does not have a good mess. The food served in the mess is not much good.
Faculty: All teachers are very knowledgeable, highly qualified, and helpful. The curriculum is designed in a way that forces students to work on industrial projects instead of preparing more for exams. If the course is old, you can start combining classes to pass exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an IT engineer. Technical, non-technical, and cultural activities are encouraged by our college.

Best overall performing college, in Gujarat.
Placements: More than 80% students get placed in the campus placements, and many students opt for higher education. The highest package is 55 lac. Top companies like L&T, Microsoft, Amazon recruits from BVM. Internship is compulsory, and our faculty helps to find internships.
Infrastructure: The all new AM NAIK hostel is the best, and it is well furnished with air conditioning. There are 3 hostels in total. The new hostel for boys, is average. Girls hostel is being constructed. The mess and canteen are average. The medical support is the best, and there is active sports partnership.
Faculty: Every professor and faculty, has doctorate degree. The course is outstanding, as our college is autonomous. There is always a review asked, on college syllabus. Our college provides industry-ready, and skilled knowledge to us.
Other: There are many types of scholarships, offered by the college.

It is an excellent college in Gujarat with good facilities and faculty members.
Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.8 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, L&T, Crest, Tatvasoft, etc., visit our campus. Internships and training are provided to all students.
Infrastructure: The hostel has been completely renovated and air-conditioned rooms are now available. It is located on campus so there is no need for transportation services. Sports and TVs are available. Wi-Fi is available in the library, where students can sit and use the service.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and most of them have completed their doctorate degrees. They redesign the curriculum as per market demands and new technologies. About 90% of students who regularly attend the classes can pass their exams well. Preparation for placements and other activities in the placement cell is organised to make students industry-ready.
Other: Technical as well as cultural events are organised frequently, and students enthusiastically take part.

Our college life is good in all aspects.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed in good companies. Even some have successful start-ups. Adobe offered a package of 42 LPA. Sometimes some big MNCs are also visit for employees, and it is hard to crack their interviews and tests.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good for our course. Advanced laboratories are also good. The structure of the hostel is good but the food is not good. It is mandatory to stay in the college's new hostel for 1st year when they take admission in bachelor's. Air-conditioners and non-air-conditioners are also available in the new hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are good but sometimes students have to ask questions and what they want to learn. The structure of the examination is better. The course curriculum is better and it is different from other colleges because BVM is an autonomous institute that's why some syllabus differ from GTU.

Faculty members are very good and supportive .
Placements: Talking about Placement, most of students in IT and CP gets placed. The highest was around 10LPA and average around 3-4LPA. TCS is major recruiter. Internship solely depends on you, if you are good you will definitely get one. Internship starts after 4th Semester .
Infrastructure: The college may look old from outside but labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms are best. Library has most of the books. There are many hostels nearby. If you get A. M Naik it will be best as there is good quality of mess and good facilities. Although in other hostel there might be issue with food but other facilities are good.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are friendly and kind, they are supportive and talk frankly. BVM being autonomous has best curriculum needed for the industry. Semester exams are kind of difficult, but key is to study regularly for an hour or something. In first year there will be some subjects related to electrical, electronics so it may be difficult or easy depends on your interest .
Other: IT is a blooming industry there are infinite opportunities in the field. BVM is a prestigious college near to my home so I choose to study in BVM. Every year UDAAN is organised which is tech-cultural event. Its so much fun.
