It has supportive faculty, peaceful campus life, and a scope for improvement in practical learning.
Placements: Nearly 40-50% of graduates from the Indian Institute of Content Writing landed roles as content writers, teachers, members of NGOs, and customer support. Some companies involved in recruiting are private schools, NGOs, EdTech firms, and media companies. The college helps students find internships and many have been successful in getting them in content creation, social work, and education. The placement cell organises workshops and sessions to give us pointers on resume and interview techniques. Students probably will not get as many high-ranking placement opportunities with their B.A. as they would in technical areas, but those who are involved and talented.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course is satisfactory. Classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with basic teaching aids. The library is decent with a good collection of books related to the syllabus and some general reading materials. Wi-Fi is available in selected areas. Computer labs are accessible for academic use. However, there is no hostel facility for students, which can be challenging for those coming from distant places. Medical facilities are minimal but functional. More improvements in sports infrastructure and canteen services would be appreciated.
Faculty: Faculty members in our B.A. program are knowledgeable and approachable. Most of them are well-qualified and explain topics in a simple and clear manner. The teaching quality is good and student-friendly. The course curriculum is decent and covers important topics, though it could be updated to include more practical and career-oriented subjects. Semester exams are manageable if we attend classes regularly and study properly. The pass percentage is quite high as the faculty members provide good support and guidance before exams.
Other: I have a real interest in literature, history, and political science, so I chose this B.A course. My knowledge of society is growing and I am also learning to communicate and analyze effectively. We have a good time living on campus. From time to time, we arrange fests, cultural programs, and seminars. The group is made up of many people and everyone is supportive. Being connected is positive and students seeking scholarships can find some choices. I also like being involved in debates and participating in writing competitions.
