A good college before 2024, but not now.
Placements: Placement was good, but it depends on your profile. The coordinator gave full help to give you a good placement. In this college, they won't bring companies like small finance and banks. This was the plus point of college.
Infrastructure: The hostel was expensive, and it did not meet my expectations due to its food and culture. It was very expensive to stay in a city like Mysore because there were areas where you could fulfil your needs for half of the hostel fees. I think so, the college does not have a hostel now.
Faculty: Faculty members were amazing when I was studying in my first and second years. When I was in my final year, all teachers had left the college, and there was no more good quality in teaching left. In the curriculum, there was a team called VOMC. I would suggest not joining this team, they will get the work done without any appreciation, and they won't respect you. But college faculty members are fully changed now.
Other: College is good if you go to study only. They had done a big scam by collecting money from students in the name of convocation. They didn't give more than 2 convocation dresses to the full college and didn't issue a degree certificate after completion of 2 years.

The college is good. I learnt a lot from this college.
Placements: I have studied from 2018 to 2020, and we had 200 to 250 members in B.Com with 5 sections, like A, B, C, D, E. I have started to pursue my CA after the completion of my degree, and the highest I thought was 6 LPA to 10 LPA. The recruiting company was Infosys. 55% to 65% of students got the internship. Roles offered were bank employee and company employee.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful. Whenever topics were difficult, they taught us until we reached or understood. I think the course curriculum was not fully ready for the students to industry. Semester exams were not difficult, not so easy, but average. The pass percentage was good, like 75% to 80%.
Other: I did this course because it helped me to do my CA. I needed to improve my communication skills. All other activities helped us enjoy college life.

SBVR Mahajan's College Review
Placements: Nice college with good facilities and really helpful teaching staff. The majority of students get placed if they have decent marks. The college offers many activities like NCC, NSS, and sports.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. There is a canteen where you can hang out, enjoy snacks, and spend quality time with friends. The computer labs are well-equipped with super-fast Wi-Fi. The quality of food in the canteen is decent but can be a bit oily at times, so we eat it in moderation.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful. They assist with any doubts you may have and will approach you if you need help with the subject. There is no need to hesitate in asking for their assistance.
Other: I chose the course based on my interest. The college could use some improvement in infrastructure, and sometimes teachers rush through the subject. The college hosts many events, with the main event being the college fest, MAHAM, which is one of the best in Mysore.

This is my review of Mahajana First Grade College.
Placements: In Mahajana College, marks aren't considered for admission, but having better marks is beneficial for admission, as they offer better discounts. Merit admission is granted for scores above 95%. They also facilitate placements, primarily with Infosys, L&T, Wipro, etc. After graduation, they don't consider students with back papers.
Infrastructure: I like the college campus; it's not like apartments but rather a wide campus with just three floors but extensive facilities including a big ground, gym, and canteen. The campus is eco-friendly. In sports, Mahajana excels in Mysore University; during my academic period of three years, we achieved the overall championship, especially in cricket and handball. The hostel facilities are excellent, though the food is subpar. The hostels resemble apartments; I don't stay there but found the best rooms at affordable rates.
Faculty: The teachers are generally good and qualified, although not all are friendly. In my department, the quality is good. Mahajana College is autonomous, so exams are comparatively harder than at the university, but this isn't an issue because the college excels in academics.
Other: The campus is centrally located in Mysore and is one of the best. However, the college fest is relatively modest compared to others, and attendance is mandatory. Scholarships are also provided.

Placements: Above 40% students are eligible to apply for the admission.
Infosys, Land and some more company also offered placement.
45000 is the highest it was the first base or basic admission fee.
30.000 is the lowest package.
Infosys LnT come for recruitment.
Manager post, assistant manager of the company and developer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: SBRR mahajana first grade college mysuru jayalakshmipuram the specialities given by the college it was good and the staffs also very supportive and motivating students. Hostel facility also available for both male and female. Hostels were in good area every kind of games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful to the students but when it comes to an exam they treat us as stranger they don't want to support any of the students in the examinations hall.
And then courses are very good and every teachers are well knowledgeable persons and they teach very good and they have good skills in teaching.
In the semester you must score 40 including internals then only you'll pass I think there is no risk in the semester.
Other: I had selected B.Com because i am interested in the commerce field. In our course we will get more information about the trades stocks and other business ideas and business development ideas.
Rarely the college host the events you won't get enjoyment in the events and crowd was around 3.000 students are there and also scholarship also available and in the campus they have organised some activities in the college it was so good .

Review of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College.
Placements: Around 90% of the students get placed for sure with good packages in well-known companies. Around 40 among 45 students were placed in Karnataka. Students here are satisfied with this college and we are happy that we got placed.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, and we also have a huge stadium for sports. The parking facility is also available for the students. Smartboard facility is also available for the better education of students. The college also provides the lift facility, and this helps the students to save their time.
Faculty: We have well-experienced, and some very talented freshers are also hired to help the students. This helps the students to experience both new and old teaching styles. Our teachers are good and are highly knowledgeable. The quality of their teaching is good, and they help the students to get both practical and theoretical knowledge.
Other: Sports day, ethnic day, cultural day and lots of events are held in our college.

It is one of the best colleges in Mysore.
Placements: Placements depend on the marks of students. Placements are provided for the best students. 30% of the students got placed in our college as only a few opportunities are provided. Students have to try outside. The internships are also provided by our college.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities that include Wi-Fi, labs, cyber cafe, the best library and separate restrooms. A waiting room is also available. Classrooms are great. Sports and games are conducted by our college. The canteen present on the campus is very good.
Faculty: The college has great faculty members. All the undergraduate courses are provided to the students. The professors are very good. Monthly, seminars and workshops are conducted for students.
Other: Many cultural activities are conducted by our college every year. Scholarships and fee concession are provided.

Overall, the college is excellent.
Placements: I don't know about the placements and the packages offered. I concentrate only on my under graduation, and I don't know about the placements of our seniors. I think they are placed in good companies. I suggest one to join Mahajana to get excellent potential; it is one of the good colleges in Mysore. The college always gives importance to the placements of students.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities like a library, digital library, excellent coaching for sports students, medical facilities, Jio Wi-Fi, etc. The college conducts weekly assembly. Good canteen facilities are available. Classrooms are good with fans. Good lab facilities are available. Each student has an individual computer in the lab.
Faculty: The teaching staff are excellent. They use the smartboard to explain the concepts. They also give us extra information rather than the syllabus. Each semester has an extra subject. Each subject is assigned to a lecturer. The way of teaching is wonderful.
