Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2022

The college environment is good.
Placements: Only 2-3% of students get placements from our batch. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Companies like Deloitte and Infosys visit the college to recruit students from our course. None of the students from our course get internships. Top roles are not offered. It is organising more co-curricular activities on the college campus. It was great to overcome stage fear for the college students and face to interview.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Inside and outside, the campus is very clean and great. The canteen food is not so nice and not hygienic. There is a little encouragement in sports. It has sports rooms. The canteen is well-maintained.
Faculty: Some teachers were qualified and some were not. The quality of teaching was okay not so bad not so good. The course curriculum was relevant. The course does not make students industry-ready and they become industry-ready on their own.
Other: I like to do business and I am interested in accounts so I took a B.Com course. The best thing in our course was learning about finance. More knowledgeable and qualified lecturers should be there in one particular subject.

It is a good college, best in sports and curriculum activities.
Placements: No companies are coming to campus. It will impact the future career of the students. If the campus interview option is available it will be helpful for most of the students to create a good future. So the college should focus on this.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was amazing. Very vast classrooms and huge faculty, but the problem is they will start the course after a month gap and will complete it within the time. They should make the students understand all the topics, they shouldn't do it for the sake of completing portions.
Faculty: It has an average faculty. Exams are good and are managed by the faculty. In the exam hall as well they are supervising very strictly. The college is famous for its cultural activities. Most of the students are from villages and have very good cultural knowledge.
Other: Our college needs to improve in-campus selection especially.

Teaching is good in our college and it has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In our batch, I am still currently studying 1st year of B.Com. Above 75% of marks should be scored to get into this college. I still don't know about internships and companies because I started my degree like 6 months ago. The roles offered are bank manager, accountant CS, and many more with a salary of Rs.20000 - Rs.30000 per month for beginners.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good and the infrastructure buildings are good. There are also good labs. The classrooms are okay because it is a government college. The library is also good. The hostel facilities are average. I think the food served in the canteen is good. Sports and games are good. There is a tennis court and also a huge ground opposite the college.
Faculty: In our college, the teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The semester exams aren't so difficult because this is the first year of the NEP syllabus for us. So it is good. This course is curriculum relevant and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I wanted to become a bank manager or accountant if I do CA till now. There is no fest so far. Our campus is very huge with surroundings. Scholarships are provided for many students and the connection with other teachers and students are good.

The college has friendly faculty.
Placements: The placements are not provided by the college. B.Com is about finance. All big to small companies need employees in the finance department. Billing, data scientist, chartered accountant, cost management accountant, and bank employee roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, canteen, and a library are available. At present, there is no canteen. It might be provided soon. There is no hostel and canteen in the college. Students can get rooms in the surroundings. Sports and games are played yearly. They send us to district level or state level competitions.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. University of Mysore is one of the top universities in the world. Semester exams are not much difficult. The passing percentage is about 95%. They offer CA, CMA, and CS courses too.
Other: I chose it because I want to become a CMA.

The college is great, which is 100 years old.
Placements: There are no placements in this college since the college started. It's a university, but no companies visit the campus for the placements. The companies seek the minimum criteria, but the students of this college don't meet that criterion. But the seniors will refer to the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is awesome. There are the Wi-Fi labs on the campus. There is a gym for the students. The library and the classrooms are good. The sports room is big. There are the digital classes and the library. The international level cricket ground is available on the campus. The good quality of food is available in the canteen. The campus is large and greenish.
Faculty: The faculty members are great, supportive, and well-qualified. There is a frequent industrial visit. The timetable is good. The library is good. The sports staff is helpful and friendly. For every 10 students, 2 faculty members will be the caretaker of the college.

The best college with budgeted amount in Mysore.
Placements: There are no placement facilities. It is a government college. The assistance from the government for placement will provide on vacancy basis. Overall we can say value for money. The highest salary will be 15-20k per month, and the minimum salary was 8k per month.
Infrastructure: The facilities which are available in the college are best world-class classrooms, Wi-Fi facility, huge canteen, parks and indoor playgrounds. The quality of the food in the canteen is good. The hostel facilities are good. The toilets are neat and clean.
Faculty: Experience with the faculty is wonderful. The teachers are supportive. Very good exposure for education. They help us a lot in understanding the concepts. We have got industrial exposure as well. Overall the curriculum was useful.
Other: The college is very good and recommended for the students who are economically weak and who wants to go for higher studies in the same college without paying huge fees. The huge library and study centre will help a lot for self-study. Cultural programmes and motivational workshops are really interesting.

Life at Maharaja's, and the right turn of life.
Placements: They had no actual placements in this college, and the faculty also did not give particular information about the placements in the college. This year, they conducted a placement programme by the Government of India in this college for all the graduates and postgraduates.
Infrastructure: It was an old wooden college, around 150 years old, but still comparatively good compared to other colleges. It had more style, which represented the old architecture of Vishveshraiah and the British style. They had a library which was the same as it was in Europe.
Faculty: Many faculty members were not good, but some were very helpful. They even taught after their time was over and took good care of the students as if they were their own children. The principal was very cooperative, and even every single issue was solved within one week of the complaint.
Other: I chose this course because I was more interested in the accounting field, where I could continue into accounting professions, and through this, I could achieve the goals and dreams I had dreamed of in the future.

Review of Maharaja's College, University of Mysore.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, etc. MNCs visit our college to recruit students. Almost 90% of students got internships in finance companies. Top roles offered are banking and finance. It is the best college. I would recommend joining this college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college has a library, reading rooms, Wi-Fi, etc. The food served in the mess, canteen, and hostel is good. They provide sports and games facilities. It is the best college in Mysore.
Faculty: Our lecturers are excellent. They make students ready for the finance industry. The final semester exam is difficult. The pass percentage is 100%. I achieved good marks. It is a good college.
Other: It is the best course. This course is helpful for the future. A scholarship facility is available in our college. Many events are held in our college.
