The college can improve on the placement records.
Placements: A smaller number of student placement records have been shown this year, and I heard about the fact that Microsoft banned this college from entering for placements due to an internal issue. The placements average at 7 to 10LPA, that too if you are qualified with a good amount of knowledge in the field.
Infrastructure: Facilities are fair, sports facilities can be improved, and there are frequent Wi-Fi problems. I went inside the on campus hostel and noticed the rooms are smaller but ventilated well with a good mess. There needs to be more events based on communities outside the college.
Faculty: Some teachers who are on the younger side are helpful but can be rude at certain times. The curriculum can be better focused on newer generation technology in the coding part. The semester exams can be passed with a fair amount of practice and knowledge of what happens in the classes.
Other: Events and everything are fair and good.

Career prospects are strong, though classrooms can feel average.
Placements: UPES has excellent placement opportunities, especially in CSE. Around 90-95% students are placed with the highest package going above 50 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Opportunities are there, but for top performers. Core roles are limited, and many companies offer mass recruitment profiles.
Infrastructure: UPES has one of the best infrastructures among private universities in India, but classrooms should have AC. Hostel and cafeteria are decent, the view from hostel is epic. Wi-Fi-enabled labs are advanced, well-stocked libraries. Sometimes you feel crowded in hostel.
Faculty: Most faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum is industry-oriented, updated regularly and includes emerging areas, AIML, data science and cloud computing. UPES also encourage projects and certification. Exams are manageable if you keep up with lectures.
Other: The crowd in UPES is diverse, with students from all over India. You get good exposure to various cultures, and most students are friendly and energetic. Overall, you will easily find your group.

Industry-focused curriculum with great campus life.
Placements: Placements at UPES are pretty solid. Around 90% of students get placed each year. The top package has gone up to 50 LPA, and the average is about 7 to 8 LPA, and companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, PwC, and ONGC hire from here, with roles ranging from engineers and developers to business analysts and legal associates. Placements are a strong point, though internships could be improved.
Infrastructure: College offers modern infrastructure with Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, and a rich library. Hostels are safe with decent food, medical care is available 24/7, and the campus has strong sports and fitness facilities for an overall balanced student life.
Faculty: Teachers at UPES are really helpful and knowledgeable. The courses are industry-focused, so you feel prepared for real jobs. Exams are not too tough if you study regularly, and most students (90%+) pass without much stress. Faculty at UPES are generally seen as helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable.
Other: I picked this course mainly because it’s industry-focused and has good placement opportunities. The best part is the practical learning and supportive teachers. On the flip side, fees are a bit high, and internships could be more. Campus life is fun with lots of fests, events, and clubs. The crowd is lively, the surroundings are beautiful, and there are scholarships for deserving students, so overall it’s a good mix of study and fun.

UPES 2025 updated information, all about infrastructure, placements, facilities, hostel, etc.
Placements: Usually, in UPES, students get placed with a decent package of around 8 LPA. When it comes to the highest package, it goes above 30 LPA, and average is 8-10 LPA. Many companies come to the college and take students with a good package, but it totally depends on the student whether they will be able to clear it or not.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good, and UPES has its own Wi-Fi named UPESNET. It has a good high internet speed, and also the labs and classrooms are not the same as those at CU, GUE, and other private universities. It has far better infrastructure with a good environment, but when it comes to campus hostel, you are charged a lot higher fees, i.e., Rs. 1,94,000 for a triple sharing room, and the food in the mess is not of that good level. As a student who lived on campus for a year, it was very tough to eat that food.
Faculty: UPES has a highly qualified faculty. Faculty have a great knowledge of the subjects, and they actually guide everything and are always available for help. UPES has one of the most advanced curricula compared to most universities. Semester exams are tough to clear as they have a moderate level, but students generally pass.

A good college for a person seeking a nice social life with good studies.
Placements: Here at UPES, in my course B.Tech CSE, almost 90% of students are placed. But package is not that much for the majority, like average salary package is almost about 4-5 LPA, not more than that. Highest salary package I heard was about 55 LPA (not sure if it was off or on campus ). Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. All students get an internship from UPES since it is a part of course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure here at UPES is very nice, all blocks are well furnished with peaceful white theme classes. In campus hostels are good. Since I live outside the campus hostel, I heard that the mess food there is not that good. Hostel has a lot of indoor games. There are many grounds dedicated to every sport. Regular contests and competitions occur for sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. Of course, some teachers are there just to give marks and complete their semester classes. Curriculum is very structured and organized in comparison to other colleges. I personally feel the semester exams are easy and manageable.
Other: I chose this course here at UPES because I found this college better than any other private colleges in northern India in terms of all things. For improvements in course, I would suggest college to increase coding culture since that is the key to placements. College has a very good social life. One could see events on a regular basis. College has various clubs so one can connect with other students easily and unite in a club.

It is the best B.Teach college in Uttarakhand.
Placements: Many students got placed here. A minimum of 30% of students are placed, and the package offered in this course is very high. Many companies come here, and numerous students secured internships, so you must be admitted here. The environment is excellent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities here are great. Course facilities are very good, and the department is well-equipped with available Wi-Fi. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped, and the library is excellent. Medical facilities are available at any time, and sports activities happen daily.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent, and they teach us in a friendly manner so that weak students can also understand. The course curriculum is relevant, which makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite easy.
Other: The atmosphere is the best.
