Great college and satisfactory investment for our future.
Placements: Almost 60-70 percent of students got placed this year and opportunities provided to students are quite good. The highest package offered is impressive and many reputed companies like Deloitte and others visited the campus for recruitment. Their Career Service Department plays a great role in your internships.
Infrastructure: It has an excellent infrastructure with modern classrooms and each having projector, fully equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-maintained centralised library in which you can access PyQ and they also provide soft copies of the books available. The quality of food court is unmatchable so hygienic and tasty. Sport facilities are also available.
Faculty: They are helpful, qualified, and so supportive. Most professionals have a good academic background as well as industry knowledge. Various workshops, seminars, and industry interactions help students become industry-ready and they are not just our professors but our mentors.

UPES - A good investment only if you're smart and proactive.
Placements: So, like, there are 3 categories in the 3rd year, and you give an exam for placement. The highest one is alpha, they get placement 100%, beta guys are like 7-9 CGPA, they get max to max 7-20 LPA packages, and gamma ones are like below average students, so placement depends on their personal skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not good in college, but in the hostel it's good. The classroom is there. The library standard is that I get all the resources, and good books are there. I have Microsoft 365 Premium, and as you do research, the GPU is assigned. Food, I would say 7/10, it's edible and clean, but not spicy. Non-veg is provided 3 days a week. A pool, table tennis, and badminton court are inside the hostel, and as we live in a college hostel, the playgrounds are open till 10:30 for us.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, it's like how much work can you get out of them? The course curriculum is excellent and makes students industry-ready. You learn a lot. Semester exams are like, the odd semester is easy, and the even semester is hard. For CSE, you are taught AIML in the first semester, so you will learn to train models, then you go into your domain and expand. Semester exams, Maths is difficult for me, and the rest is very much of your own practice. Minimum 6 CGPA per subject and an overall 6.5 CGPA needed to pass. Teachers are decent.
Other: The MUN club is the best. I am a part of it, it has great public speaking skills and I have developed great communication skills. Chapters and extracurricular activities are there every month. There are at least 4-5 events going on.

Strong academics, good industry connections, excellent placements, and modern infrastructure.
Placements: 90% placement rate. The highest package is 50.09 LPA, the lowest is 8.41 LPA. Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, etc. recruited with 100% placement. Other companies include Reliance, ONGC, Adani Group, TCS, and Infosys. Roles offered include software engineer, data scientist/analyst, cybersecurity analyst, cloud architect, web developer, AI/ML engineer, DevOps engineer, database administrator, network engineer, and more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not that good in UPES. Labs are fully furnished with high-quality equipment. Classrooms are also very good, with excellent furniture, AC, and smart classroom facilities. The library is fully maintained and too good. Hostel facilities provide sufficient needs for students in their rooms, and the hostel mess is very good. Medical facilities are also very good, and sports and games are excellent at UPES.
Faculty: All the staff members, faculty, and management team are very kind in nature and are highly qualified, and of course, the teaching quality is also excellent. In this 4-year study program, the university will make your CV impressive and ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate in level, and the passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because of the high placement record in the future, and the best thing about my course is that UPES has excellent faculty and management in B.Tech CSE and other branches as well. Breaks between classes should be less. All the events in UPES are in the range of good to excellent, and fests are impressive. The campus crowd is very good, and overall, it's a good college.

I am absolutely satisfied with the university. The faculty and placements are also good.
Placements: 90% of students are placed in my university. The highest package offered by my college is approximately 60 to 70 LPA, while the lowest is around 4 LPA, with an average of about 6 to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Google, etc. The top roles offered are Software Engineer positions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is really good, and it is so large that it is difficult to cover on foot. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained. We have various labs for different subjects, all of which are well-equipped. I don't know much about the hostel as I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Teachers at our university are highly educated and qualified, with some having degrees from IIT. They are excellent at teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. The semester exams in the college are of moderate difficulty neither too hard nor too easy. The pass percentage is 80%.

Total waste of money may be good at 1 time, but it is very crowded.
Placements: The placement for the batch of 2024 was inferior, with the average package being 3 LPA and the highest 30 LPA, offered to only one student. The placement for the batch of 2025 is better than that of 2024, with some companies with packages of more than 20 LPA. The college has taken significant steps to improve placements, such as extra classes for aptitude and grouping students into batches like coaching (the top batch students receive more attention and priority for placements).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for classes is okay. It is newly built and has all the modern tools. The on-campus hostel for both boys and girls is below average. In the hostel, there is only the option of three students sharing one room. Washrooms and balconies are not attached. Better rooms are available outside the campus hostel, and the food quality is also poor in the campus hostels. The Wi-Fi in classrooms works very well, but at other times, it is useless. The library is okay.
Faculty: Some faculty members are top-level, and studying under them gives the feel of studying in an IIT or a foreign country. However, many new faculty members lack teaching experience and subject knowledge. The curriculum is also not up to industry standards and mostly focuses on unused theory, with less project work and practical implementation.
Other: The number of admissions, specifically in the B.Tech CSE program, is rapidly increasing, which is raising the competition and making placement management very difficult for the college. The college cannot provide placements and quality education to such a large number of students. This year, more than 2,000 students into the B.Tech CSE program alone at UPES.

Infrastructure is top-notch. Faculty members are best. Placements are above average. Fees are high.
Placements: UPES has a large number of placement companies coming in. The average package would be around 7 LPA-10 LPA. The placement rate is above 70%. As of my knowledge and college website, the highest package of last academic year is 26 LPA. Companies like Samsung, IBM, Infosys, and many more renowned companies take part in placements.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, I would say it is top-notch. It has two campuses and the combined land is 44 acres which is a lot for it to be spacious and beautiful. On campus, there is greenery everywhere and it has a proper stadium-like cricket ground (not the stands).
Faculty: Faculty members are also very good, currently, I am in 1st year, and in semester 1 I was taught by teachers who completed their studies from India's top government colleges (IITs, NITs ). Talking about the curriculum it is designed the way that it would help to clear out basics and then they teach advanced level as well for specific subjects.
Other: I chose this course because of some specific reasons such as placements, campus life, and location. You get a mountain view from every part of the college so for you to spend a whole 4 years would feel more joyful. Events and fests are like their daily things. In my 1st year, I have witnessed two hackathons, one game development camp, and a couple of fests.

A perfect blend of learning.
Placements: Our college placement percentage of students is good. Almost all students are placed in well-known companies like Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Some recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, Investors Clinic, etc.
Infrastructure: UPES Dehradun provides various facilities. The infrastructure is very good to ensure a conducive learning environment for students. The entire campus is equipped with high-speed internet and Wi-Fi facilities. There are different types of labs, like petroleum, electrical, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and good in nature. UPES prides itself on having a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty. The curriculum at UPES is designed to be highly relevant and aligned with the latest industry trends. Semester exams are designed to assess both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Other: I chose Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at UPES due to its strong academic reputation and the focus on industry-specific programs. UPES hosts a variety of vibrant events and fests throughout the year. Campus environment is lively and full of opportunities for extracurricular encouragement.

Good infrastructure, Average faculties, Good campus life.
Placements: Around 80% students are placed of my batch. Highest package in cybersecurity was around 25 LPA. There were many recruitment of different companies done in UPES. Paid internship were not given to the students. Only few students get those. Lowest package in my batch was of 3.5 LPA which was given by a mass recruitment company.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is topnotch no doubt. Faculties are good. Actually those faculties are good who are permanent, those who are scholars that is who are pursuing PHD in their respective subject, they don't know how to teach. Hostels are just ok ok according to price. Food quality is good.
Faculty: I chose specialization in cybersecurity. So in this course there is not that much to study. The semester exam were not that hard. They can be easily passed if one attended the class regularly and listened to the faculties in class what they taught.
Other: The only advice i would like to share is "STUDY HARD PARTY HARD". Everyone is in a rat race in private college. So come out of that and be the best. About events I don't know much about them. But events were organized almost every week. Big events were organized only twice a year.
